The Red Gym, Etsuko isn't training at the moment but she is prepping for something. Something involving a single red candle that she places down on a holder.
Etsuko: Miss. Jacqui, they say you only ever get one shot at a first impression.
The young Joshi leaves it at that for a moment as she reaches a hand out for a small lighter, which she pockets prior to bringing the candle up.
Etsuko: I am afraid you may have left more enemies in your comments than you would have liked to. Pulling out a joke on the closure of a significant company that many believed in, that many relied on. I can not believe there is anyone among that former roster that would not want to see you hurt in some way. Unfortunately for me,
Etsuko pauses a bit to reach up touching the front plate of her shock collar. For a moment there, it looks like she might even smile. But she doesn't as she falters back to her stoic expression.
Etsuko: I too wish to see it so and it will give me great pride in doing so.
Her fingers, still gently pressed against the front of her collar, close up as her hand is moved away.
Etsuko: That would make this match a trouble, Miss. Jacqui, since if you know anything about me it is that I must forfeit certain pleasures when in the ring. This is to bring more to light the notion that victory is all my Goddess ever requires. Failure, Miss. Jacqui, always comes with a reason and the inability to control ones emotions is not acceptable.
Etsuko takes her leave of the room but we're not done with her yet as the camera follows her along into the gym that has been cleaned some since the last visit here.
Etsuko: The other misconception is that I was somehow better than when I was without my Goddess. That I faltered to the sidelines. Miss. Jacqui, I was fighting for contenderships with my Goddess behind me, I was fighting to be seen when I was not. My Goddess' light will guide my way, Miss. Jacqui.
Etsuko makes her way into the ring where Nikki is already present and kneeling. Etsuko rests the candle down in between them kneeling to the opposing side from her manager.
Etsuko: It is a shame there are so many others who will celebrate your defeat in our match, Miss. Jacqui, you will not hear the only voice that matters.
Etsuko pulls out the lighter from her pocket and switches the flame on, which she uses to light the candle. She then pockets the lighter and joins Nikki in holding her hands together in prayer as both bow their heads silently letting the red candle flicker between them.
