Here you will find the rules for Seishin, please abide by them so that we may all have a smooth running e-fed.
The Number One Rule
Let’s make this particular point crystal clear. Seishin is an e-fed. E-fedding is a game, and games are meant to be a fun way to pass the time. So let’s all work together to have fun, first and foremost.
Basically, don't be a dick. It's a little blunt, but there we have it.
If at any point you find yourself with some kind of an issue with a fellow roster member then please PM a member of staff and we shall help resolve the issue. Also, we will not tolerate OOC disputes being aired on the OOC Forum. The OOC forum is for peaceful civil debate and not drama, so please use it as intended.
Bigotry and Bullying
This ties into the "don't be a dick" rule, but Seishin will not tolerate any kind of bigotry on the part of it's members, be they racial, sexual, religious or any other form of bigotry.
Nor will Seishin tolerate any and all forms of internet bullying, internet bullying is a disgusting practice and we shall not stand for it. We like to keep this place fun for everyone, so anybody who engages in any form of bigotry or bullying on the RP board or the OOC board, whether they are in character or out of character, then they shall be asked to leave and then banned from the forum.
Beyond that, again, please feel free to discuss anything you like.
Roleplay Rules
First and foremost, Seishin is a micro-fed, which means the word limit for roleplays are very small. Seishin's word limit is 500 words per roleplay, and handlers are allowed 2 roleplays per match. Any roleplays that go over either limit will not be counted.
On the subject of tag team matches, if a tag team consists of two handlers then it is the team that is afforded one roleplay per handler. If a tag team is handled by a single person then like the rest they are afforded a maximum of two roleplays. This is to ensure fairness and to promote teamwork in two-handler teams.
In the event that you are participating in larger tag team matches (eg: six-woman tag matches, etc...) then each handler is afforded two roleplays as normal.
Swearing is allowed in your roleplays, but please note that like the above rule states, we shall not tolerate any kind of bigoted comments, be they racial, sexual, religious etc... Even if they are in character.
Also, we here at Seishin wish to encourage a writer's imagination, however, that being said we also with to encourage realism. Be as imaginative as you like, but we would rather not read roleplays involving your characters raping and murdering people for example. That kind of stuff it not only unrealistic it's also unoriginal.
Opt Ins and No Shows
If you have read the FAQ page on the forum, then you shall already know about the "opt in" system that we have. Before a show is booked, we shall ask the roster members if they wish to be a part of that show (to opt in, as it were). Once the show is booked you can then begin roleplaying.
You may choose to opt in with as many of your characters as you like, but if you opt them in then you shall be expected to post roleplays for all of them.
If you are not able to roleplay for whatever reason, we would appreciate it if you could let people know either through PMs or the OOC board that you are going to no show. But if you are able to post at least one roleplay (even if it's just a single line of text) then we would appreciate that more than a no show and we're sure that your opponents would appreciate it more, too.
If you no show but let us know about it, nothing will be done. Your character will lose the match (of course) but there the matter will end. If you no show without letting us know, you'll receive a warning, and if done a second time then you shall be asked to leave.
If all parties involved in a match no show (whether they let us know or not) then the match will be cancelled. Why should we waste our time writing a match nobody RPed for?
Characters
You may apply as many characters as you like for the Seishin roster. There is absolutely no limits to the number of characters you wish to field.
Nor should you feel that you are limited to just handling attractive women, even though that is the overall theme we're going for. You want to be a monster heel? Be a monster heel? Is your character ugly as sin? Bring a paper bag! We only ask that you don't make your characters have Nazi gimmicks or anything like that. Those were in poor taste even when they were prolific beck in the fifties and sixties.
When you are applying for Seishin and wish to provide a profile picture of your character's picbase, please use something appropriate and at least relatively tasteful. Proboards has a strict policy in regards to posting adult material and we do not wish to be shut down for having softcore porn on the forum. Anyone who ignores this rule will have the offending picture removed.
As a reminder, Seishin is a joshi puroresu based e-fed, so that means NO BOYS ALLOWED! Seishin is strictly a women's wrestling fed, so any and all applications for male wrestlers will automatically be declined. Sorry guys!
In closing
This has been mentioned at the top but we feel it is important enough to repeat. E-fedding is a game, so have fun and enjoy your stay at Seishin!
