"So, I get to my debut match in Seishin, and it's against Candi."
"Now, Candi, I hold no ill will against you, because there's simply no reason to do so. You seem like a nice enough girl, maybe a bit airheaded, but certainly nice enough nonetheless."
"But see, Candi, I went back and watched the tape of your match with Junko a few weeks ago. It seemed as if you had a problem wanting to engage in a match with your friend."
"Which, in all honesty, I can respect highly, but at the end of the day, that's also going to be the difference between you and I."
"I have friends in this sport, including a legend that trained me for it. And I wouldn't hesitate to blast him with a forearm in a match, or crack him in the ribs with a kick. He knows it, I know it, and at the end of the day, he respects me for that."
"We're in a fighting sport, Candi. I like to dance and party and have as much fun as any other girl on the planet, but when I walk out into an arena, when I get up onto the apron and get in the ring....that means it's go time. It means that it's either me or my opponent that's going to get pinned or submitted, and I'm going to my dead-level best, within the structure of the rules, to ensure that it's not me."
"So what does that mean for you, Candi?"
"It means that I'm going to hit you, multiple times, and I'm going to hit you really, really hard. I'm going to kick you over and over, and it's going to hurt. I'm going to chop you straight in the chest, and it will sting....and the more it happens, the longer that pain will linger."
"But don't take it personally. There's nothing personal about what I do. All I want to do is win this match, and then more matches, and then step in the ring with the Champion of Seishin."
"It's nothing more than a means to an end, Candi. A way for me to get to where I want to go in this sport."
"Where I want to go is to be a champion."
"To get there, in this company, that requires that I beat you. And if that means beating you down before pinning you, Candi?"
"Well....that's simply what I'm going to have to do. Because I can't stop."
"I won't stop."
"Not until I have that belt around my waist."
"So, again, don't take this personally, because there's no hatred between us."
"But I will do what I have to do, Candi."
