Kai is seen in the gym punching a bag with furious strikes as she screams out with each blow. She delivers a few kicks to the bag in between some of her punches and this goes on for a few minutes before she sits in a chair and grabs a bottle of water and drinks from it before grabbing a towel and wiping the sweat off her forehead.
“Honor is something I take very seriously. There should always be honor in the sport of wrestling, without it, we are just barbarians who beat each other up for sport. Sure, I may always come off as someone who likes to see things in a bright light. That’s how I’ve always been. I like to see the good in people despite how people may view them. Look at Sara-chan for example. Most people see her as a bratty seventeen year old. I see her as this amazing person who has a big heart that loves me and I love her too. Some people don’t like that and I don’t care. There aren’t enough people out there like me that are willing to look past some of the negative and see the good in people. I will always be like that and will never change.
We are just a short time away from the biggest show to date for Seishin and I know the match I find myself in will be hard but, I know I can overcome the odds and this girl who has actually won more than one match here in Seishin despite what some people claim will win this match and become the first ever Honor of Seishin Champion. I have the will, determination and the power of positivity on my side. I will fight with all my might to walk out of the Tokyodome with gold around my waist. I will show a darker side to me if I have to but, I don’t think anybody wants that from me. My darkness has shown before but, it’s been a long time and I almost never came back from it the first time and I don’t want to risk that again.
Five women all with the same goal in mind and only one of us can win and I know this will be a match the fans will love and that is almost as important to me as winning the championship but, at the end of the day, people will remember who won this battle royal, not who got eliminated last. I plan on outlasting all four of these other ladies and ensure that I am the one who walks around with the title and bringing some Honor to Seishin. No matter what I have to do, I will walk out of Destiny Rising as the first ever Honor of Seishin Champion and nobody is going to stop that from coming to fruition.
Kai smiles as she goes back to the punching bag and continuing her workout.
