The feed began at a…Shinto shrine? The birds were singing so low that it was a wonder that the microphone picked up on them. Yet, the sound of lightly passing water covered for their incapability. The camera was aimed directly at the brook, catching sight of the small fish traversing through it. Soon, a rock skipped across it, almost reaching the other end of the lakeside. The camera panned to reveal Kaya Lovelace, sitting down in front of it. Devoid was she of her usual rage and egotism. Instead, she sat calmly, almost somberly.
“Was everyone expecting just me to explode?”
“Tammy, Molly, this isn’t going to be me sitting here for a few minutes, calling you every horrid name that I can. Nor is it going to be me running down how bad you are. No, this match isn’t for that. Instead, I’m going to sit here and calmly tell you how much trouble you are in,” Kaya paused, running her hand through her thick mane. “If it was just me, I would curse you out and be done with it.”
“I won’t even curse,” Kaya added, snickering lowly to herself. “This isn’t the time and place for that kind of thing,” she noted, looking around the peaceful environment.
“Becca Raze has come to Seishin to create RuiNation. We’re a team that will surely take Puroresu by storm. Two gaijins with the intention of decimating any team that stands before them. As you may know, Becca isn’t exactly the sweetest gal to be around. She’s a menace to society and an actual danger to humanity.”
“She wants the gold, plain and simple,” Kaya murmured, picking up another rock. “I do too.”
“What makes it all better is that we have to beat TnA for the belts.”
“So I’m going to handle this situation like a mature adult. At Rising, I fight off against two women who have had a long journey to get to this point. In fact, many sing your praises. You all came from nothing to competing for championships.”
“You may be wondering why I’m being so serene about this. It’s a simple reason,” the rockstar threw the rock across the stream.
“Funerals demand respect, right?” an evil grin came upon Kaya’s face.
“You girls made it this far, managing to avoid your ends for so long. You almost got away again when you both attacked me after our match,” Kaya rubbed her face, which sported a bandage from the brawl. “You could have walked away, feeling proud. But you two ran your mouths. Now, we have to end you both. It’s a crying shame that Seishin will witness such a tragedy.”
“Perhaps on episode six, we will hold a tribute for you both. Everyone will come surround the ring, dressed in black. People will cry and try to remember the best things about you two.”
Kaya sighed.
“And there, RuiNation will be centerstage with the Wonders of Seishin Championships around our waist…drenched in your blood.”
