We Are Seishin #5 Results

The video package opened inside of a conference room filled with reporters, photographers and the occasional cameraman. At the table on the opposite end of the room was Seishin General Manager Mariko Inoue, dressed in a beautiful violet kimono and sitting next to the owner of Seishin, one Mister Toru Hyuga, who was dressed in a sharp business suit.

The room was filled with the sound of cameras snapping photographs of the two smiling bosses of Seishin. Moments pass, and it was Toru who spoke first.

Toru Hyuga: “Thank you for coming! When Inoue-san and I came together and founded Seishin, I didn’t think that our company would find so much growth and support from our fans in so little time. I am truly thrilled and excited to see our company – our child, as it were – become as large as it has. But as excited as I am about Seishin, I believe I should let our General Manager make the next announcement.”

Mariko bowed to the cameras with a smile on her face.

Mariko Inoue: “Thank you so much, Hyuga-sama, and I share your sentiment about our company. I am just…astonished at the growth that Seishin has enjoyed. But we have an announce-we have a couple of announcements to make, actually. First, I am pleased to announce that we have decided to re-brand some of our championship titles; the Artisan of Seishin Championship is now the Honour of Seishin Championship, and our tag team titles, the Ladies of Seishin Championships are now the Wonders of Seishin Championships.”

There was a pause before Mariko continued with her announcements.

Mariko Inoue: “Second – though you may know this already, but let me make it official – the tournament for the Championship of Seishin title will be coming to an end at our first supershow, Desting: Seishin Rising, two weeks from today. The tournament final will be a three-way dance between ‘The Alpha Bitch’ Jacqui M, Junko representing Team PRD and Merlot Ayano, and I’m sure that our finalists will not disappoint.”

Toru shared a small laugh with himself, and Mariko continued on.

Mariko Inoue: “And third…originally, we planned to hold Destiny: Seishin Rising at the Korakuen Hall, as we do with our regular show, but given all the love and growth we have enjoyed I am pleased to announce Hyuga-sama and myself have discussed this and have both decided to make a change in venue for our supershow. Instead of Korakuen Hall, Destiny: Seishin Rising will now be held at the world famous Tokyo Dome!”

All of the reporters and photographers present muttered amongst themselves at the news.

Mariko Inoue: “Yes, that’s right! Two weeks from now, Destiny: Seishin Rising will be viewed by an audience fifty-five thousand strong at the Big Egg itself!”

Another pause, and then…

Mariko Inoue: “And…that’s all the announcements we had to make. Thank you for your time, and may I wish the best of luck to our three finalists. I’m sure whoever walks out of the Tokyo Dome as our first Champion will represent only the finest that Seishin has to offer.”

Korakuen Hall, Tokyo Dome City, Tokyo

As soon as the video package had ended, the Seishin cameras open inside a Korakuen Hall that was filled to the brim with wrestling fans, Japanese and gaijin alike, all of them waiting for the fifth edition of We are Seishin to begin. One of the cameras panned across the colourful banners hanging from the hall’s balconies, catching colourful images of Jacqui M, Hana Park and E.N.I.G.M.A. And there was an even more…colourful image of Tammy Tits hanging beside a replica flag of the Saito Clan.

Keiji Mikami: “Good evening everyone, and welcome to the fifth edition We are Seishin, here at the Korakuen Hall here at the Tokyo Dome City in Tokyo! I’m Mikami Keiji, here to with my broadcast partner Takahashi Tomoko, and Takahashi-san we are only two weeks away from our first supershow!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Mikami-san, what a surprise announcement by our General Manager earlier today. In case you missed it at home, Inoue Mariko has announced that our supershow, Destiny: Seishin Rising is now going to be held at the Big Egg itself, the world famous Toyko Dome! I haven’t set foot inside that stadium in years, Mikami-san and the last time it was as a part of the crowd. As much as I hate most of our roster it’s going to feel so good to go back there as Seishin’s colour commentator!”

Keiji Mikami: “Well, as excited as you are about that, you can’t deny that our supershow’s main event is going to be even more exciting! It’s going to be Ayano Merlot, going up against the Alpha Bitch, Jacqui M and Junko of Team PRD for the Championship of Seishin!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Sorry to burst your bubble there, guy, but I’m actually more excited to be commenting at the Tokyo Dome than I am at watching an idol, some trailer trash has-been and a member of a family of drunkards wrestle each other for our big girl belt. But enough about me, let’s watch some wrestling!”

Match One

Kaya Lovelace and Molly Cyrus vs. Team PRD

Tag Team Match

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a tag team match set for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit!”

As the opening riffs and snares to "Me wo Tojite Gyusshiyo" sounds out, the lights darken save for two spotlights shining on the ramp. On the curtain to backstage is a silhouette of two female figures posing next to each other back-to-back. From behind the curtains come Meiko and Junko, Team PRD. The two are met with applause as the spotlight now shines directly over the both of them. Both girls are carrying a microphone. As they walk down, spotlight ever following them, Junko begins singing along to the words to their entrance music while Meiko acts as both a backup vocalist and the hype girl, clapping in time to the music and energetically getting the crowd to clap and dance along with the music.

Keiji Mikami: We are starting off our night with an exciting tag-team contest, and coming down to the ring right now is a team many are touting as the future of Seishin tag team wrestling!

Tomoko Takahashi: The idol girls?! You're joking, Mikami-san!

Keiji Mikami: Well, one of them did manage to reach the Championship of Seishin tournament finals...

Tomoko Takahashi: Yes...through playing rock-paper-scissors...

Once PRD enter the ring, they look towards each other and then towards the crowd and do a short spin dance move, ending in the same back-to-back pose from the silhouette as the lights come up.

Keiji Mikami: Our fans are certainly behind Team PRD, as our joshi representatives in this match-up...

Tomoko Takahashi: Pah! Some representatives! Recording stars

Before Keiji can get another word in edgewise, "Jan Brady" begins to play, and Molly Cyrus jaunts out from behind the curtain, taking a moment to twerk on the ramp before making her way down into the ring.

Keiji Mikami: And here we see one half of that controversial gaijin tag team who somehow managed to obtain a contract with Seishin...

Tomoko Takahashi: Ugh! At least it's not that other girl...that disrespectful one with the large breasts and the grating voice! This one is slightly more tolerable...

Keiji Mikami: Indeed, Molly Cyrus will be performing here tonight without her regular tag team partner...it remains to be seen how good she will fare with the present one!

Tomoko Takahashi: ...and here she comes!

The opening to "Throat Full of Glass" by Combichrist begins. Its unique beats results in Kaya Lovelace making a steady walk from behind the curtain. Chewing on a piece of bubblegum, she scans the crowd methodically. After her initial scan, she blows a bubble before heading down the ramp. A black hood shrouds all but her wicked smile. Her walk down the ramp is focused, disregarding the existence of all around her.

Tomoko Takahashi: Now that is a wrestler. She may be a gaijin, but she is not dancing and prancing around like a fool!

Keiji Mikami: Kaya Lovelace, of course, getting her revenge on Natalie McKinley at the end of We Are Seishin #4...and also performing here tonight without her usual partner, Becca Raze!

Tomoko Takahashi: I would wager neither of the partners is too happy about this arrangement...but it is what Inoue-sama decreed!

When Kaya ascends the ring apron, she shows a small usage of her athleticism, front-flipping over the top rope. With a roll to recover, she stays on one knee. The hood goes off, revealing the full features of herself. The bright eyes of Kaya Lovelace shouts malice as she glares down anyone that catches her gaze. She heads to her designated corner, keeping her back turned to whatever. Lowering her head to the top turnbuckle, she begins her mental preparations. When the bell rings, she turns her head and finally faces her 'partner', Molly, whom she treats to a scathing glower.

Keiji Mikami: No love lost between these two athletes...can they co-exist, one wonders...

As Keiji wonders aloud, in the ring, Seishin ring announcer NAME introduces the contestants:

Masami Ishikawa: Introducing first, in the blue corner, from Harajuku,at a combined weight of 243 pounds...MAY AND JUNE...TEAM PRD!!!

Blue and pink streamers drop from the ceiling as the fans once again cheer the idols, who give them a pageant wave.

Masami Ishikawa: And in the red corner. From Tennessee, USA, weighing 115 pounds, MOLLY CYRUS! And from St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada, weighing 140 pounds, KAYA LOVELACE!!!

Black and white streamers greet the two thrown-together partners, who still have not stopped glowering at one another suspiciously.

A moment later, the Ass in Tits'n'Ass indicates in no uncertain fashion that she will start the match, causing Kaya to glower daggers at her. Before she can take further action, however, the referee rings the bell, making Molly the legal woman against Team PRD's Meiko!

Tomoko Takahashi: How rude of that woman!

Keiji Mikami: Molly Cyrus asserts her position here, surprisingly enough...and Kaya-sama doesn't like it...but it is too late to do anything now! Our match is under way!

As the bell rings, Molly promptly leaps at May with a forearm strike, taking the joshi down. She then picks the smaller woman up and drives her to the corner, smashing her head against the turnbuckle before trapping her to it and delivering a series of knee strikes to her midsection. The referee comes over, but Molly ignores his intimations, continuing to hit the fan-favourite joshi with knees until May explores an opening and pushes her away! The crowd cheer as the Team PRD member connects with a dropkick, sending Molly reeling back. Seeing her chance, Meiko gets a running start and aims a short-arm clothesline at Molly. The Tennessean ducks, however, and Meiko hits the ropes, rebounding back straight into a back kick to the jaw from Molly Cyrus!

Keiji Mikami: Big impact there from Molly Cyrus! Somebody told me this girl couldn't wrestle, but so far, that is proving untrue!

Tomoko Takahashi: You're thinking of the other one, Mikami-San...

After flooring Meiko, Molly takes a moment to gloat to the crowd, getting the expected reaction. It proves to be a moment too long, however, as May is able to quickly recover and hit Molly from behind with a one-handed bulldog! The taller woman hits the mat and Meiko raises an arm to the fans, whose boos quickly turn to cheers!

Keiji Mikami: The fans are definitely behind the idol team here, and Team PRD could feed off of that to turn the tide in the early moments!

Meiko does indeed feed off the crowd as she brings Molly to her feet and goes to set up a legsweep. Molly is faster, however, and reverses into an arm wringer, twisting Meiko's arm. The Team PRD member is seen grimacing for a moment, before her instincts lead her to hit a back kick to Molly's stomach, to make her release the hold. It works, and Molly stumbles back a step, but is right back on offence with a side headlock! May once again finds herself in trouble, her head being squeezed between Molly's arms, but once again, her instincts kick in. This time, the joshi uses elbows to make her opponent release the hold, before going behind for a German suplex!

Keiji Mikami: May-chan gets the best of that exchange, but she mustn't take her eyes off Molly-sama!

Unlike her American counterpart, the joshi knows this, and wastes no more than a minute blowing a kiss at the crowd before she turns back to face her opponent. Molly is just getting to one knee, and Meiko waits until she is back up before running at her with yet another short-arm clothesline! This time, the move connects, and Meiko lets her momentum carry her to the ropes. She bounces off just as Molly springs back to her feet, and traps her opponent's head in prime position for her rolling snapmare driver!

Keiji Mikami: May-chan could be about to capitalise here...

An elbow to the side of the head from Molly, however, puts an end to the joshi's intentions, and Meiko goes reeling back. Molly spins around on her heels and drops the joshi with a lariat; then, with a defiant look towards the fans, she heads for her own corner and begins to ascend the turnbuckle!

Keiji Mikami: Could it be? The Wrecking Ball? Could this one really be over this soon?

It certainly seems that way, as Molly is clearly intending to hit her finishing crossbody. Before she can do so, however, she is shocked to feel a hand slap her shoulder, and to see Kaya Lovelace enter the ring!

Keiji Mikami: Kaya-san just tagged herself in! Blindly!

Tomoko Takahashi: ...and about time, too! The fans were starved for some talent in this match!

While Keiji refrains from any further comments, someone else certainly doesn't – Molly Cyrus, who gets in Kaya's face about the blind tag. The two women thus begin to have an altercation in the corner, giving May time to recover from Molly's lariat. The joshi considers continuing the match, but then thinks better of it and crawls to her corner to tag in June!

Keiji Mikami: Tag made to June-chan, one-third of our Championship of Seishin Main Event for Destiny!

The crowd's reaction after this moment is, however, divided – while a few are cheering Meiko, just as many are gasping at another, simultaneous occurrence: Kaya has just shoved Molly Cyrus off the turnbuckle and to the floor!

Keiji Mikami: Tensions come to a head here...and can Team PRD capitalise?

They certainly do try, as the now-legal Junko immediately runs at Kaya and – before the Canadian can react – pulls her into a schoolgirl rollup!

...Junko gets a shoulder up!

Keiji Mikami: A bold tactic from our Championship contender, but it almost backfired!

As a result of the reversal, Kaya has the upper hand, and picks June up, bringing her to her feet – only to immediately hit her with a jumping uppercut!

Tomoko Takahashi: Shoryuken!

Meiko stumbles, but somehow stays on her feet, so Kaya takes it upon herself to try and bring her down. To do so, she chooses a rolling elbow, which connects – but does not take Junko down; instead, it sends her against the ropes, where she collapses. Kaya does not hesitate and promptly connects with a running front dropkick, finally flooring the joshi!

Keiji Mikami: Kaya-sama gets her wish, but June-kun proves hard to take down! Not for nothing, she is a number one contender to the Championship of Seishin...

Tomoko Takahashi: Pah! She got there through children's games – and here against Kaya-sama, she is proving just how weak she is!

As the announcers debate, Kaya collects Junko from the ropes, only to whip her towards the opposite set. She seeks to capitalise with a running big boot, but Junko manages to side-step, tripping her opponent up. Kaya stumbles, but manages to maintain her balance and whip around...to find Junko leaping off the ropes with a crossbody! Kaya collects her snugly and positions her for a triple powerbomb, but Junko reverses into a quick hurricanrana! Kaya goes sprawling the other way, and the joshi rolls over to one knee on the mat!

Keiji Mikami: Excellent counter from June-chan, as Molly Cyrus seems to be recovered...will we see her back in her corner in a moment?

The Tennessean, however, seems to have other intentions, as after rolling through to her feet she begins to walk away from the ringside area!

Keiji Mikami: What?! Molly-sama is abandoning the match...abandoning her partner?!

Tomoko Takahashi: It was evident, Mikami-san. She is not to be trusted!

Kaya, who is recovering from Junko's counter on the set of ropes directly in front of the entrance ramp, sees Molly leave and immediately flares up, ordering her to come back. Molly, however, completely ignores her, and Kaya seems poised to step out of the ring and go after her.

Tomoko Takahashi: Can Kaya-sama force Molly to return to the ring?!

Before anyone can learn the answer, however, Kaya sees her intentions thwarted when Junko pulls her into yet another roll-up!

...Kaya's shoulder goes up!

Keiji Mikami: June-san reminding Kaya-sama that there is still a match to fight...

Annoyed, the Canadian glances towards the ramp as she gets to her feet, but her partner has by now disappeared. As such, Kaya forces herself to once again concentrate on the match, reaching for June and dropping her with a half-nelson suplex. A cover ensues!

...Junko's shoulders go up!


Keiji Mikami: June-chan escapes yet again, but Kaya-sama is in control here...

Indeed, Kaya seems to have matters perfectly within her grasp as she goes to pick up the lighter of Team PRD's members...

...only for Junko to nail an elbow to the ear, releasing Kaya's hold just enough to get to her feet and run towards the ropes! Kaya gives chase, but is unable to prevent the springboard moonsault from connecting! A cover from Junko ensues!

...Kaya reaches for the ropes!

Keiji Mikami: June-chan turns the tide, and makes good on her credentials!

Tomoko Takahashi: I am still not convinced...

After the failed pin attempt, June goes to pick Kaya up...only for Kaya to reverse whatever she had planned into a bridging suplex, and another pin!

...June gets her shoulders up!

Keiji Mikami: The pace is really starting to pick up in this match between two of Seishin's top athletes...but still no sign of Molly Cyrus anywhere!

Tomoko Takahashi: Kaya has this on her own, Mikami-san! She doesn't need that tramp!

Tomoko is soon proven right, as Kaya once again whips Junko to the ropes, only to drop her with a bicycle kick as she rebounds off! June drops to the mat, but Kaya does not cover straight away, instead signalling for the Kaya Drivaaaahhhh!

Keiji Mikami: Kaya-sama wants to end this...but wait a moment! What is this!?

Indeed, before Kaya can bend forward to pick up her opponent, two figures come streaking down the ramp and into the ring. One of them is clearly Kaya's partner for the night, Molly Cyrus, while the other is Molly's own partner, Tammy Tits!

Keiji Mikami: What!? It's...it's that other woman!! And Molly-sama!! What are they...?!

After a moment, it becomes evident, as the two engage Kaya and apply a double atomic drop!

Keiji Mikami: WHAT!? Molly Cyrus and her friend are attacking Molly-sama's own tag team partner!! And robbing us of a conclusion to this exciting contest between two of Seishin's best!

Tomoko Takahashi: Ugh! Disgraceful tramps!

The bell promptly rings, and a moment later, Masami Ishikawa announces:

Masami Ishikawa: Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of this match as the result of a disqualification...Kaya Lovelace and Molly Cyrus!!

The match may have ended, but the attack didn't. Caught unaware by the atomic drop, the Canadian reels...directly into a jumping facebuster from Tammy! She drops to the mat as Molly begins to ascend the turnbuckle, going for another Wrecking Ball...

...only to be pulled off by a third figure who has just barged in from the crowd!

Keiji Mikami: WHAT?!

Tomoko Takahashi: It's Kaya-sama's own partner, Becca Raze!!

Indeed it is – and she has pulled Molly off the turnbuckle and is now delivering mounted punches! Tammy comes to intercept for her partner, grabbing Becca from behind, but the newcomer struggles free, and stalls the 'Jersey Whore' long enough for Kaya to recover and come around to help! Molly, however, is far from down for the count, and soon joins in the fray, which turns into an all-out brawl! It is with this paradigm – neither of the four women getting the upper hand – and a shot of Team PRD slinking around the mayhem, crestfallen, that the feed cuts to commercial.

Segment

A loud, booming voice bellows in Japanese tongue into the venue.

"私はあなたのすべてを支配するようになりました。"
(English Translation: "I have come to dominate all of you.")

The arena lights flash twice before the air is filled with the sounds of Shinedown's "Enemies", prompting confused looks from the Seishin crowd.

Keiji Mikami: What's this?

Tomoko Takahashi: I'm not familiar with this music.

Before long a wall of smoke comes up over the entrance area. Soon after, the Seishin crowd is treated to the emergence of a young, muscular - yet attractive - woman with long flowing blonde hair mixed with silver streaks out of the smoke, leaving a pose for all the crowd to marvel at.

Her arrogance was subtle, right? The Japanese crowd would hesitate, allowing the newest Seishin debutant the chance to properly introduce herself before passing judgment. After a few moments of soaking in the adulation of the foreign (to her) crowd, the woman would continue, sliding in the ring under the bottom rope. Once there, she'd step into the centre, dropping one last pose, a little different from the first.

Once the music faded down, the new signee would snatch the mic from announcer Misami Ishikawa's hands...without even a simple please.

?: So this is it, huh? The "famed" Seishin that has made quite the name for itself in only a handful of shows.

The woman throws her head back and lets out a laugh. This gets the crowd in a bit of an uproar.

?: Allow me to introduce myself. I am the newest talent acquisition of Seishin, I am your boyfriend's dream that will never happen, I am the Prodigy. My name, is Tatyana Yvette.

Keiji Mikami: Tatyana...?

Tomoko Takahashi: Hmm. Still struggling to place the name. But it does sound vaguely familiar.

Tatyana: That's right. But I'm not here to fight under your old, dated views of honour and strong style - I refuse to compare a body as divine as mine, to the 'Gaijin' YOU people call the entertainers here! Yes, I am the Prodigy; the Prodigy of Sports-Entertainment!

Keiji Mikami: What?!

Tomoko Takahashi: Then why come to work for a company with pure roots in Joshi...?

By now, the crowd is growing in great unrest at the blatant disrespect Tatyana is showing.

Tatyana: No, it's ok, you can cheer me. Cheer me for giving you something worth watching. Cheer me, for entertaining YOU, as the last great performer of Seishin! Cheer me for having a strong will unbendable to your out-dated 'Gaijin' ways, cheer ME for not allowing myself to be labeled as 'one of you'!

Tatyana: My name is Tatyana Yvette, get used to hearing that because that is same name that will become synonymous with victory. Championships. And success. And you? You all will thank me for bringing entertainment BACK into your lives!

By now the arena has grown quite vocal in the pure, unadultered disrespect of an entire culture by Seishin's newest signee, Tatyana Yvette. But she simply stands there and takes it all in, as Shinedown's "Enemies" plays her out.

Keiji Mikami: ...She's gonna be trouble.

Tomoko Takahashi: Indeed. And she debuts, IN TWO WEEKS, at "Destiny: Seishin Rising"!

Keiji Mikami: I can't wait to watch her get knocked out then. The audacity of her to come into OUR company, and show zero respect for our culture and most importantly, these fans!

Match Two

Kai Shizuka vs. Kotone Wakahisa

Singles Match

Masami Ishikawa: Ladies and gentlemen, this is a singles match and is set for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit.

“I am the Best” begins to play and Kai skips out through the curtain and waves at the fans with a huge smile on her face before skipping down to the ring and hopping onto the apron and waving at the fans before stepping into the ring and posing in the middle for the fans.

Keiji Mikami: Kai Shizuka has been impressive here in Seishin. However, she has a long road ahead of her tonight.

Tomoko Takahashi: Hai. She’s going to get crushed; I for one can’t wait.

“The Power” plays over the loudspeaker, and the intro plays for about seven seconds before the drums kick in. This is Kotone’s cue, and she walks out onto the stage. She strides down to the ring at a brisk pace, eager to perform for a new audience. She walks up the stairs and steps into the ring, stretching in the corner as she prepares for the match ahead.

Keiji Mikami: Kotone Wakahisa is one incredible specimen.

Tomoko Takahashi: She’s a beast, in every sense of the word. She hasn’t wrestled much; but, her strength should more than make up for that.

Her music fades out. Korakuen Hall becomes as Masami Ishikawa makes her way to the center of the ring

Masami Ishikawa: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing first, in the red corner, from Kanazawa, Japan, weighing in at 135lbs… Shizuka Kai!

The fans toss pink and black streamers into the ring as Kai takes a small bow. Afterwards, the ring crew scrambles to remove the streamers.

Masami Ishikawa: And her opponent, in the blue corner, from Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, weighing in at 176lbs… Wakahisa Kotone!

Black and white streamers ran down unto the ring. Kotone flexes her massive guns and then points at Kai; the ring crew clears out the streamers.

Keiji Mikami: Looks like they are all set.

Tomoko Takahashi: Let’s get this massacre over with.

Ding, Ding

Both competitors make their way to the center of the ring. After a brief ten second stare-down, Kotone raises her right hand, initiating a test of strength. Kai smirks a bit and responds by raising her left hand. After a bit of jockeying, the two interlace their fingers.

Tomoko Takahashi: Well this is stupid.

However, Kai swiftly pulls away and blasts Kotone with a stiff leg kick. Kotone’s leg buckles a bit as she takes a couple of steps back. She taps on her leg, in order to get her blood rushing.

Keiji Mikami: It appears that Kai came in with a gameplan.

Kotone gets back into the thick of things as she walks back towards the center. The two begin to circle each other for a moment. Suddenly, Kotone shots in, looking to yoke up Kai. However, Kai is able to sidestep the attempt at the last moment. She is then able to capitalize by landing a short palm strike to the back of Kotone’s head, followed by another stiff leg kick.

Keiji Mikami: Looks like Kai is going to try and chop Kotone down.

Tomoko Takahashi: She’s sticking and moving. It’s a smart plan; I’m surprised she came up with it.

Keiji Mikami: Why? We’ve seen Kai do some spectacular things in the past.

Tomoko Takahashi: Riiight.

Kai swiftly shoots herself into the ropes. Kotone cocks back launches her arm out as Kai rebounds. Kai ducks under her opponent's arm and uses her moment to hit the hits again. Once again, Kotone throws a clothesline; and once again, Kai ducks underneath it.

As Kai hits the ropes again, Kotone decides to switch up her strategy. She waits a half of second before running at the ropes herself. Kai rebounds and sees her opponent barrelling towards her; however, their respective momentums are too great. Kotone’s shoulder collides with Kai, who flips over and falls to the mat.

Keiji Mikami: Kotone turned the tides with that move.

Tomoko Takahashi: She flattened Kai like a bug.

Kai slowly makes her way to her feet. However, once she does, she’s scooped up by Kotone. The former bodybuilder slams Kai to the mat with a wicked bodyslam.

Tomoko Takahashi: She almost broke her back with that one. I love it!

She then goes for the cover:

Kai is able to kick out. Kotone makes her way to her feet and then begins to pick up Kai. She wrenches Kai’s arm and then shoots her into the corner. Kotone rushes in and nails Kai with a corner clotheslines.

Keiji Mikami: The brutality continues.

Tomoko Takahashi: Hai! Hai!

Kai is dragged to the center of the ring. Kotone hooks the leg as the goes for the pin attempt:

Once again, Kai is able to kick out. The fans show their appreciation by clapping. Kotone continues to remain in control by yoking Kai up and lifting her high into the air. Instead of going for for a regular suplex, Kotone stalls. After about seven seconds elapses, Kotone begins to do a squat while still maintaining control. The crowd cheers a little bit, impressed by the woman’s strength. after another ten seconds lapse, Kotone does one more squat. She then drops Kai down to mat.

Kai clutches the small of her back as Kotone gets back to feet. She walks over to where the hard-camera is positioned and flexes once again.

Masami Ishikawa: Five minutes have elapsed

Kotone turns and spots Kai, who is trying to get to her knees. She cracks her knuckles and then makes towards her.

Keiji Mikami: Kai looked strong her in the beginning. However, Kotone has looked very dominate since then.

Tomoko Takahashi: Kotone needs to quit playing around and just end this match already.

Kotone grabs Kai by the waist and deadlifts her into the air. Kai kicks her feet to try and get out of the hold, but to no avail. Kotone pops her hips and tosses Kai backwards with a release German suplex.

However, Kai is able to land on her feet; she quickly backpedals into the ropes. As Kotone begins to stand up, she gets clocked in the back of the head by Kai’s right forearm. The powerhouse stumbles a bit, but doesn’t fall. Kai hits the ropes, rebounds, and connects with a choke block to that leg she had been working on earlier.

This time, Kotone drops down to the mat and grabs on to her left leg; Kai notices this right away.

Tomoko Takahashi: Kotone, watch out!

Keiji Mikami: Kai has got that fire back in her eyes.

Kai takes the time to time to deliver a massive stomp to that leg before she usher Kotone to her feet. Kai shoots in and captures that leg; she spins and drops Kotone to the mat with a dragon screw. Kai maintains control as she springs back to her feet. She spins, grapevines her opponent’s legs, and then plops down to the mat, locking on a figure-four.

Kotone begins to writhe around in pain. During the course of all this, Kotone’s shoulder hit the mat. The referee begins to count:

Kotone turns onto her side a bit, which raises her shoulder off the mat. She peers over and sees that the ropes are a long ways off. Nevertheless, Kotone starts to pull herself over towards the ropes. Kai cranks back, which doesn’t make Kotone’s journey any easier.

Keiji Mikami: The former bodybuilder is in a difficult position right now. Kai could snap her knee if this continues.

Tomoko Takahashi: Have you seen Kotone’s legs? It’s going to take more effort than that.

Kotone reaches out, but she still couple of fingertips away. She grits her teeth and digs down deep. With one last push, she scoots closer and then extends her arm. Kotone is able to take hold of the bottom rope. Kai realizes this and releases the hold.

Masami Ishikawa: Ten minutes have elapsed

The fans show their appreciation for the match by cheering for a few moments. The two competitors roll away from each other, both trying to regroup. Kai is able to stand to her feet on her own accord, while Kotone uses the corner and the ropes to make it to a vertical base.

Both of the wrestlers walk gingerly towards the center of the ring. Once there, the begin to exchange forearm shots. Eventually, Kai begins to get the advantage. She rocks Kontone with to rapids shots before hitting the ropes. On the rebound, Kotone lifts Kai up high above her head.

Tomoko Takahashi: There’s that power on true display again.

After a few moments, Kai is completely tossed into the air. Kotone catches her with her shoulder, only to drive her to mat with a powerslam. She slaps her knee a bit before she crawls over and goes for the pin:

Kai lifts her shoulder off the mat. Once again, both wrestlers make their ways to their feet. Kotone lands a large chops before she shoots herself into the ropes. On the rebound Kai shoots in and smacks Kotone with a high roundhouse. Kai spins her around and drops her with a quick German suplex.

Keiji Mikami: Amazing strength by Kai!

Kotone rolls through, which absorbs some of the blow. She quickly gets back to her feet and tries to rush Kai. However, due to the punishment of that left leg, she’s a step or two too slow. Kai sees her coming. She grabs Kotone, spins, and drops her to the mat with a Blue Thunder Bomb. She maintains control and goes for the cover:

At the last second, Kotone shoots her shoulder off the mat. Kai takes ahold of Kotone’s ankle and flips her onto her stomach. She locks in a STF.

Tomoko Takahashi: Ugh, another submission hold.

Keiji Mikami: Kai is a very good technician. Additionally, she’s been working on that knee the entire match; her strategy makes perfect sense.

Tomoko Takahashi: She is going to put me and the rest of the fans to sleep.

Realizing the danger she is in, Kotone grabs ahold of Kai’s arms; she’s able to use her strength to break Kai’s grip. She fires her head backwards and collides with Kai’s face. Kai rolls away in order to create some separation.

Masami Ishikawa: Fifteen minutes have elapsed.

Both Joshi struggle to get to their feet; however, once they do, Kai is step or two faster. She fires in a forearm shot that catches Kotone flush. Nonetheless, Kotone keeps her vertical base. Kai hits the ropes and then connects with another shot; however, Kotone is still unmoved. Kai shoots into the ropes one last time; she blasts Kotone in the left knee with basement dropkick.

Kotone grabs her knee. Kai lifts Kotone up and plants her with a knee breaker and drops her to the mat. Swiftly, Kai grapevines Kotone’s legs and flips her over. She reaches down and grabs Kotone by by the arms.

Keiji Mikami: She calls that move the Last Dance! And by the look of things, Kotone has nowhere to go.

Tomoko Takahashi: She break of it, just like she broke out of all the other holds.

Kotone grits her teeth and tries to fight through the pain. Kai squats even further, which places pressure on knee. Kotone screams out in pain. She tries to hold, but after a few moments she forced to scream out “I submit.” Kai releases the hold.

Masami Ishikawa: Here is your winner by submission...Shizuka Kai!!

Keiji Mikami: Kai has done it! At times, it looked like Kotone had her number. However, she pulled it out!

Tomoko Takahashi: Meh.

Keiji Mikami: What kind of response is “meh?”

Tomoko Takahashi: The unimpressed kind. Next match please!

Etsuko Mitzusaka vs. E.N.I.G.M.A.

Singles Match

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a singles match set for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit!”

The lights of the arena suddenly fade and "Drove Through Ghosts" by 65daysofstatic starts playing. The spotlight then points to the entrance where two figures are seen coming from it. When they look up it's clear they are using red porcelain masks with only black round holes for eyes.

When they arrive to the ring, E.N.I.G.M.A. bows and Raggs takes her mask out, and then moves out of the ring, leaving the wrestler alone.

Keiji Mikami: “First comes Enriquetta Nicoletta Igranye Genievan Mellissann Annarietta to the ring.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “How in the hell do you remember all that?”

''Cure for the Itch'' starts up as Etsuko comes out looking around the crowd as Nikki steps out close behind her. With the two standing side by side, they clasp their hands together and eye up at the rafters saying something to themselves almost in unison before bowing their heads. After their prayer has finished, Etsuko and Nikki make their way down to the ring with the former's eyes dead set on the squared circle ahead of them while Nikki tends to switch between her and the crowd. Once at the ring, Etsuko hops up onto the apron while Nikki finds a spot outside watching as her charge steps in through the ropes where she afterward starts stepping around the ring awaiting for the match to start tugging a little at her collar. Outside of the ring, Nikki pulls out the shock collars remote and waits patiently as well.

Keiji Mikami: “And her opponent, Mitzusaka Etsuko accompanied by Nikki.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Oh goody, BDSM weirdo with the shock collar… Somebody wake me when this match is over.”

The hall went silent once again as Masami Ishikawa took her position in the centre of the ring and made the introductions.

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time in the blue corner and accompanied to the ring by Beatrix ‘Raggs’ Gottschalk, from Tokyo, Tokyo Prefecture and weighing in at 105lbs… Enriquetta Nicoletta Igranye Genievan Mellissann Annarietta… E.N.I.G.M.A.!”

E.N.I.G.M.A. barely reacted as the fans boo and black and grey streamers are thrown to the ring. Moments later and Masami continued as soon as the ring was cleared.

Masami Ishikawa: “Her opponent in the red corner and being accompanied to the ring by Nikki, from Osaka, Osaka Prefecture and weighing in at 120lbs… The Oni of the Red Lady... Mitzusaka Etsuko!!”

Etsuko stood deathly still as crimson and dark red streamers were tossed into the ring and Nikki fit the shock collar around her neck. As soon as the ring crew cleared the ring once again, both women approached the referee in the centre of the ring. He asked if both were ready to begin the match. They both nodded and so the referee called for the bell.

Ding! Ding!

Keiji Mikami: “And we’re off!”

The two women locked up, and E.N.I.G.M.A. took the early advantage with a snap suplex. Etsuko hit the mat and E.N.I.G.M.A. held on, pulling her opponent up and hitting her with another snap suplex, and again she held on, pulling her up but Etsuko responded with a kick to E.N.I.G.M.A.’s gut, followed by a rake to her opponent’s face. That eye rake, however, earned Etsuko a shock from Nikki, and she backed away holding the collar around her neck.

Keiji Mikami: “I don’t think Nikki liked that rake to E.N.I.G.M.A.’s eyes, Takahashi-san.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Or maybe she did and that was, like, Etsuko’s reward, or something. Who the hell knows with these weirdos?”

While Etsuko was distracted, E.N.I.G.M.A. took her opponent by the wrist and whipped her into the ropes. She rebounded and E.N.I.G.M.A. followed with a clothesline but Etsuko ducked under her arm. She bounced off the ropes on the other side and then she hit E.N.I.G.M.A. with a headscissors that brought her to the mat. Both women quickly recovered to their feet and E.N.I.G.M.A. responded with a slap to Etsuko’s face, followed by a take down and a headlock.

Keiji Mikami: “E.N.I.G.M.A. with the headlock.”

E.N.I.G.M.A. wrenched hard on Etsuko’s neck for a few moments before she stood up and proceed to stomp her opponent into the mat. On the fourth stomp, Etsuko grabbed E.N.I.G.M.A. by the ankle and pulled her down to the mat before locking in a rear chin lock. She pulled back on her opponent’s chin hard, and E.N.I.G.M.A. cried out in pain. The referee was on his knees, checking if she wanted to submit, but E.N.I.G.M.A. refused just before Etsuko wrenched again.

Masami Ishikawa: “Five minutes have elapsed!”

Keiji Mikami: “Five minutes and Mitzusaka is putting the hurt on E.N.I.G.M.A.!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “She better do something before she gets her face ripped off! Though if I’m being honest that might actually be an improvement.”

Suddenly, Etsuko bit E.N.I.G.M.A. on the cheek which earned another shock from Nikki that made her release her opponent and climb to her knees. E.N.I.G.M.A. sat up and held her cheek, glaring at Etsuko harshly before she ran for the ropes, rebounded and was about to hit the distracted Etsuko with a dropkick until Etsuko shifted to one side and she hit nothing but mat. Etsuko stood up and ran for the ropes herself, rebounding and then she hit her opponent with a dropkick to the head. She makes the cover.

But E.N.I.G.M.A. kicked out.

Keiji Mikami: “Kick out from E.N.I.G.M.A.!”

Etsuko grabbed her opponent by the head and landed several blows with her forearm. She then straddled E.N.I.G.M.A.’s waist and then proceeded to choke the life out of her, ignoring the referee’s demands to release her. He began to count.

Tomoko Takahashi: “Get her off of her, you idiot! That’s what you’re paid to do!”

Nikki hit the chock collar once again and Etsuko winced in pain but she released E.N.I.G.M.A., who clutched at her throat, coughing and gasping for air. Etsuko recovered and then proceeded to land several more blows to her opponent’s head before pulling her up to her feet and wrapped her leg around the back of E.N.I.G.M.A.’s head. She then positioned one of her opponent’s arms into the suplex position, reached down between her legs, hoisted her up and then dropped E.N.I.G.M.A. on her head.

Keiji Mikami: “The Mitzusaka Driver on E.N.I.G.M.A.! Something tells me that Etsuko is meaning to finish this and quick!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Good, the quicker the better! The less I have to see of these two culty maniacs and their shock collars the better!”

Etsuko took a hold of both of E.N.I.G.M.A.’s face and hopped up in the air, coming down on her face with the Mitzusaka Bunny Hop. She made the cover…

Masami Ishikawa: “Here is your winner by pinfall…Mitzusaka Etsuko!!”

Keiji Mikami: “And there we have it! Mitzusaka Etsuko is our winner!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Thank Buddha! Can we move on, now?”

“Cure for the Itch” filled the hall and Etsuko’s arm was raised in victory by the referee. She climbed out of the ring, leaving E.N.I.G.M.A. lying there as she exited the hall with Nikki following closely behind her.

Hana Park vs. Ursula Areano

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a singles match set for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit!”

“Fight” starts up as Hana comes out through the curtain to a loud cheer from the crowd. It's enough to make her smile as she makes her way out toward the ring offering a couple of waves out toward the crowd.

Keiji Mikami: This match will certainly have momentum written all over it. Both Hana Park and Ursula Areanos came out of last week's show with devastating losses. A win here tonight should be enough to get them back on the track they need to be.

Tomoko Takahashi: And the funny thing is, Hana didn't even lose hers. All she did was just prolong the inevitable and get hurt in the process.

Keiji Mikami: At the time she didn't think that. She saw what could have been the ending of her match and reacted.

Tomoko Takahashi: At least the second time she figured it out and just gave up.

Keiji Mikami: I don't think that's what she was doing then either.

“Weight of the World” is heard on the sound system. Ursula comes out from behind the curtain. When she gets to the ramp, shower fireworks reign down on her. She walks down the ramp with her hips moving back and forth and she is swinging her arms. She gets on the apron and enters the ring between the ropes. After that she walks over to the ropes on the right side and stands on the first rope. She then bends over and looks at the fans with a smile on her face. She then gets off the ropes and walks to one side of the ring and waits for the officials to start the match.

Keiji Mikami: Another Joshi who came up short last show.

Tomoko Takahashi: And she has the nerve to blame it all on her partner.

Keiji Mikami: She did offer her apologies on it, taking the blame on herself.

Tomoko Takahashi: Yeah, then she stated how she does much better on her own. Let her be lonely then.

Keiji Mikami: She certainly isn't with all these fans in behind her.

The first bell sounds as Masami begins with the introductions.

Masami Ishikawa: The following contest is one fall to a finish. First, from Seoul, South Korea...Hana Park!

The crowd cheers showing their support as they toss in red and blue streamers over Hana's corner of the ring.

Masami Ishikawa: Her opponent, from Buenos Aires, Argentina...Ursula Areanos!

More cheers from the crowd as light blue and yellow streamers rain down over Ursula's side.

Keiji Mikami: Some real showing of patriotic colours in the streamers tonight. Goes to show just how global this company is.

Tomoko Takahashi: Aliens will be confusing this crowd then.

At the sound of the bell, both Hana and Ursula head in and meet one another centre of the ring with a tie up. Both girls fight for position until Hana comes in with the surprise arm drag sending Ursula momentarily to her back as she rolls through from the impact back to her feet. Both tie up again and this time it's Areano getting in a side headlock over Hana before flipping her over with a takedown slamming her hard onto her back. Park attempts to use her legs as a scissor over Ursula's head but the Argentinian native releases the hold just in time allowing Hana back up to her feet.

Keiji Mikami: Both Joshi's are really bringing an A-game here tonight.

Tomoko Takahashi: Both these girls should. After each taking their own losses... I mean Ursula letting down her partner and Hana not even really losing but still coming out a loser. Why these two aren't out here with brooms is beyond me.

Following the cheer from the crowd, both Hana and Ursula begin circling, sizing one another up. However, out of nowhere Hana comes with one of her high kicks aiming it for Ursula's head. Areano manages to roll under it and get to her feet but meets a straight side kick to the chest knocking her into the corner.

Keiji Mikami: One thing about Hana and her kicks; you don't want to dance around her, you need to do them away.

Hana is quickly on top of Ursula with a few hard shoulder strikes to the midsection following them up with a monkey flip sending Areano to her back. Park is quickly up to her feet where she ascends and comes off the second turnbuckle with a quick knee drop over Ursula's chest. Areano rolls to her side coughing out when Park gets her to her back and covers for an abrupt one count.

Keiji Mikami: First pinfall of the evening just scores Hana a one count.

Hana doesn't react to the count as she gets to her feet bringing Ursula up along with her. Following a little body contact against the ropes, Hana sends Ursula running toward the other side straight into a heel kick to the chops knocking Areano back down.

Tomoko Takahashi: Is she wrestling a match? Or putting on an advertisement for her school?

Keiji Mikami: I think wrestling a match.

Tomoko Takahashi: I would say she needs to advertise better. I mean if Candi is one of her star pupils...

Having earned another one-count off another quick pinning attempt, Hana brings Ursula to her feet by her wrist. When Areano is halfway up, Park begins slamming her shoulder against her gut then gives a lifting knee to her face sending her reeling back into the corner.

Tomoko Takahashi: Sure, that's exactly where you need to be right now.

Masami Ishikawa: Five minutes have elapsed!

Hana comes in to quickly close the gap when she's met with a stiff elbow across the side of her face. Hana staggers back and comes in again only to get booted this time around. It takes Park a moment to recover but as soon as she does, Ursula is out of the corner and charging in with a swinging neckbreraker dropping the two of them to the canvas.

Keiji Mikami: Ursula now with the counter. If she can also take hold of the momentum she might turn this thing into a win here tonight.

Ursula continues her assault by mounting overtop of Hana's chest and starts sending down a few fist shots aside the Joshi's face. After the third she stops and comes up bringing Hana up with her. She then pushes her back first against the corner where she fires off a few chops across Hana's chest lighting her up. Ursula then turns and flips Hana down to her backside with a snapmare following it up with a rear sleeper hold.

Keiji Mikami: Perhaps a smart move on Ursula's part to keep Hana grounded.

The move is only in for a few seconds before Hana manages to turn into Ursula and get to her feet. However, before she can get into countering with a few elbow shots, Ursula forces her head back under an arm and falls back with a DDT. Ursula quickly covers but only finds a one-count herself.

Tomoko Takahashi: If she wants to keep Park grounded, she needs to do more than a simple sleeper hold.

Understanding that much, Ursula brings Hana back up to her feet and slams her back first once more against the corner. After a couple more chops, she ascends up to the middle rope and begins punching down on Hana's face as the crowd gets behind her.

Ursula stops to get in a little salsa-esque hip grinding over front of Hana's face before nailing in the final shot.

Masami Ishikawa: Ten minutes have elapsed!

Ursula hops off the middle rope giving a quick clothesline knocking Hana down to a seated position. Areano smiles and steps away to perform a little more hip shaking for the crowd in attendance before charging a knee back at Hana's face.

Keiji Mikami: I would say that Ursula needs to stop pandering to the crowd, but she seems to have solid control of this match.

Tomoko Takahashi: Either that or Hana's secretly a fan of salsa dancing and could never come to interrupting it.

Keiji Mikami: Somehow I don't think that's the case.

Tomoko Takahashi: Alright, then Hana's getting her ass kicked.

Ursula goes back to the corner bringing Hana up to her feet and pulls her along to the centre of the ring.

Keiji Mikami: This might be it here.

Keeping hold of Hana's hand, Ursula gives her hips a wiggle smiling for the crowd before letting go and stepping back.

Ursula hops back forward with a high thrust kick but Hana manages to duck underneath of it and catch Areanos across the back of the knee with a shot of her own. Ursula staggers down as Hana comes in from behind with a reverse DDT stretching out Areano's leg in the process. Ursula barely has time to scream out before Hana comes back with a standing moonsault splash over her body. It takes some work but Hana manages the one leg from under Ursula's body to hook it up for the cover.

The bell sounds as “Fight” reprises.

Masami Ishikawa: Here is your winner via pinfall...Hana Park!

The crowd cheers as Hana doesn't even get up to celebrate but instead goes over and helps the ref in checking on Ursula's leg.

Tomoko Takahashi: You better take responsibility, you're the one who potentially injured it!

Keiji Mikami: It's certainly a true showing of sportswomanship from Hana to be this concerned.

Tomoko Takahashi: For an injury she created!

Keiji Mikami: Do you miss the salsa dancing already?

Tomoko Takahashi: You mean those hip gyrations that could find no beat to any music? No, no I don't.

Segment

The camera switches to an area backstage where, stood in front of a Seishin banner, having already changed into her ring attire, is Natalie McKinley.

Natalie McKinley: “Tonight I will be competing in my third match in Seishin - and for a third time, I will be appearing in the main event. In fact, come the end of tonight's show, I will have appeared in more main events than anyone else in Seishin's history. Admittedly, Seishin is short on history - at present - but still, to find myself in this position again, I would like to think that I must be doing something right.”

Natalie smiles.

Natalie McKinley: “I'm appreciative of the opportunities that Seishin is giving me: firstly, the opportunity to practise my craft here in Japan, and secondly, the opportunity to be in the ring with some highly skilled wrestlers - such as my opponent for tonight, Merlot Ayano. Unfortunately, though, Merlot seems to have misinterpreted some of the things that I said during the past week, while I was discussing our match.”

Natalie lets out a sigh.

Natalie McKinley: “Merlot, I can assure you that I do not view you as a ‘stepping stone’ - to do so would be disparaging, and I would never look upon any of my opponents in that manner.”

Natalie shakes her head.

Natalie McKinley: “I'm not looking past you, or our match. Yes, I mentioned my aspirations to someday be a champion here in Seishin, but that was merely me stating my long-term ambitions; in the short-term - in the here and now - my focus is very much on our match tonight.”

Natalie now nods her head, affirmatively.

Natalie McKinley: “I truly do respect you, Merlot; I'm looking forward to our match, and the challenge that you will pose me.”

Natalie smiles again.

Natalie McKinley: “And whatever happens tonight, good luck in your match at the supershow.”

Natalie continues to smile at the camera, before it then cuts away.

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a singles match set for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit!”

“Burning White” by Crossfaith begins to kick into full force. The lights in the arena dim just a little bit. Pockets of fans begin to cheer throughout the arena.

The camera quickly cuts to a section of the audience, located somewhere close to the entrance ramp. Those fans are decked out in various “Ayano” merch and swag.

As the song’s guitars begin to blare, Merlot Ayano walks out from the back, dressed in her ring attire and a black and silver ring jacket. She peers out at the crowd for a moment before her eyes fixate on the ring. She cracks her neck before making her way down to the ring. Merlot bumps fists and interacts a bit with the “Ayano” section before making it to the base of the ring.

Merlot pats on her kickpads and wipes her boots before sliding into the ring. In the corner, she pulls on the ropes and stretches a bit. She then takes off her ring jacket and lifts up her arms―a portion of the fans cheer. She then goes back to the corner and waits for the bell to ring.

Keiji Mikami: “Ayano Merlot first to the ring, and she looks ready for a fight!"

Tomoko Takahashi: “I do have to admit, this is one match that I’ve been looking forward to seeing. Buddha, what is wrong with me?”

"Undegpedwar" by Y Niwl begins to play over the PA system, which is the cue for a smiling Natalie McKinley to walk through the curtains, and out onto the stage. After taking a moment to scan the cheering crowd, Natalie makes her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her, before breaking into a jog, that culminates with her leaping up onto the ring apron. Natalie then steps through the ropes, and walks to the centre of the ring, from where she again surveys the crowd. Buoyed by the positive reaction that she has garnered from the fans, Natalie smiles wider, before she then turns her focus towards her opponent.

Keiji Mikami: “And this is, of course, Natalie McKinley, Merlot’s opponent. I have to say, this young woman has been nothing but impressive since she first set foot here at Seishin.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “First I kind of didn’t like her, but after she dropped some models on their faces? She’s alright.”

The hall became deathly silent as both women took to their corners, and Masami Ishikawa stood in the centre of the ring once again with her microphone in her hands.

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, introducing first, in the blue corner from Cardiff, Wales and weighing in at 147lbs… Natalie McKinley!”

The fans released a long cheer for the popular Natalie as she took a couple of steps forward and then flexed her arms as red and green streamers were tossed into the ring, and then she returned to her corner while the streamers were cleared from the ring.

Masami Ishikawa: “And her opponent, in the blue corner… From Osaka, Osaka Prefecture and weighing in at 118lbs. Representing the Ayano Clan… ’Silent Rain’ Ayano Merlot!”

Violet and grey coloured streamers flew from ringside, but Merlot did nothing. She just stood there, reclined against the large corner pad tied to the ropes.

Masami slipped out of the ring as the ring crew worked to clear the ring of the coloured streamers. A few moments later and the referee moved to the centre, as did Merlot and Natalie who shook each other’s hands. Eventually, the referee asked both competitors if they were ready to begin and they both nodded back to him.

Ding! Ding!

Natalie and Merlot circled one another in the ring, each keeping the other on the defensive. Suddenly, Natalie grabbed wrapped an arm around Merlot’s neck and pulled her into a tight headlock. For several seconds, Natalie was wrenching on Merlot’s neck before Merlot managed to push her opponent off of her. Natalie rebounded off the ropes, and was hit with a quick sling blade from Merlot.

Keiji Mikami: “Impressive sling blade from Ayano Merlot!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “It’s alright I guess. It won’t win any awards or anything, I’ve seen better.”

Merlot allowed to get back to her feet, and Natalie clapped her approval along with the rest of the crowd. They locked up their arms, each woman struggling to gain the upper hand. Eventually it was the young Welsh woman, who managed to pull Merlot into another headlock. The headlock suddenly shifted into a half nelson, until a moment later Natalie lifted Merlot and dropped her with a backbreaker.

Keiji Mikami: “And there’s Natalie with the backbreaker! This is some pretty nice back and forth action from both these women, Takahashi-san.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Don’t you think it’s a little early to make that kind of statement? How about you let these ladies kick each other’s asses some more.”

Natalie held Merlot by the shoulders and lifted her to her feet. Suddenly, Merlot grabbed Natalie’s waist and forced her to the thick pad in the corner. She then wrapped her arm around Natalie’s neck and pulled her down with her to the mat, locking in a modified version of the dragon sleeper, wrapping her legs around her opponent’s waist with the bodyscissors. Natalie cried out for a brief moment, and was stuck in the hold for a minute before the Welsh woman managed to roll over to the ropes and rest a foot over the bottom rope. The referee forced Merlot to break the hold, and both women get to their feet, staring at one another before they approach one another and exchange blows.

Keiji Mikami: “An exchange of blows from both these women, now!”

Merlot kicked her opponent in the midsection, causing Natalie to stumble back a couple of steps. Merlot then hit the Welsh woman with a stiff roundhouse kick towards the head. Natalie dropped to her knees, and it was all she could do to get her arms up to protect her chest from the shoot kicks Merlot was raining down on her. Natalie suddenly rushed Merlot, grabbing her by the wrist and Irish whipping her into the ropes. Merlot rebounded, and Natalie rushed the Japanese woman again and slammed Merlot with a stiff lariat to the mat.

Keiji Mikami: “LARIATOOOOOOO!!! Natalie is taking over this match, Takahashi-san!”

Masami Ishikawa: “Five minutes have elapsed!”

With the Japanese woman lying on the mat shaking the cobwebs from her head, Natalie then dragged Merlot back to her feet and then she lifted her high above her head with the gorilla press. The crowds were clapping their approval for this impressive display of strength, but before Natalie could drop Merlot on her face, the Ayano girl wriggled from Natalie’s grip and fell onto her feet before cracking Natalie across the chest and then following on by pulling the Welsh woman’s head under her arm and lifting her and dropping her onto her head with a stiff brainbuster.

Tomoko Takahashi: “Ouch! That had to hurt. Hope Natalie has a hard head!”

Keiji Mikami: “Excellent reversal from Ayano Merlot with the brainbuster!”

Merlot made the cover, and the referee dropped to his knees.

But before the referee made his way to three, Natalie managed to kick out of the pin.

Merlot grabbed Natalie’s wrist and then pulled her into a cross armbar, wrenching hard on the Welsh woman’s muscular arm. Natalie cried out in pain as she felt her arm getting bent backwards. The referee dropped to his knees and asked if Natalie wished to submit. She refused, shaking her head before struggling to move closer to the ropes. Merlot, as she has the armbar locked in, then proceeded to kick the young Welsh woman in the shoulder a couple of times to increase the damage she was dishing out.

Keiji Mikami: “It looks like Merlot is targeting Natalie’s arm, now, Takahashi-san.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “That’s a big arm she’s targeting, Mikami-san, but if she can pull it off that is an excellent strategy if she’s looking to make Natalie submit!”

Merlot kept the armbar locked in for another minute, with Natalie refusing to submit, despite the occasional kick to her shoulder, courtesy of the Japanese girl. Eventually, Merlot pulled Natalie to her feet and then slammed her shoulder into Natalie’s several times, and then she followed with wrist clutch suplex onto Natalie’s weakened arm.

Masami Ishikawa: “Ten minutes have elapsed!”

Keiji Mikami: “Ten minutes have passed and Ayano Merlot has the upper hand!”

Merlot straddled the Welsh woman’s waist and attacked her opponent’s arm with several clubbing blows. The two women struggled onto the mat, Natalie trying to defend herself against the smaller woman and eventually she ended up with the advantage, turning Merlot onto her back and hammering down on the Japanese woman’s face. Moments later, Merlot suddenly reversed and turned Natalie back onto the mat and continued attacking her arm.

Keiji Mikami: “Merlot is really going in for the kill with that large arm of Natalie’s!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “This is good strategy, like I said, Mikami-san! I can tell from here that Natalie’s arm is hurting, right now, and it’s probably a matter of time until Ayano locks in that Sen'i Sōshitsu, that seated fujiwara armbar submission!”

This continued for another couple of minutes until the referee was forced to break them up. He pulled Merlot off of Natalie and forced her to back off and give her opponent a chance to get back to her feet. Natalie was hurting and it showed on her face and the way she cradled her damaged arm. After the referee released Merlot the two women rushed one another. Natalie yelled a wordless cry as she ran, extending her good arm out for the lariat but her opponent ducked under and then turned around and kicked Natalie across the back of her head, filling the hall with a sickening crack, followed by the collective winces of the crowd. Merlot then climbed over Natalie’s back, sitting on her bad shoulder and then grabbing Natalie’s wrist, wrenching back on the Welsh woman’s bad arm with her submission finisher, the seated variation of the fujiwara armbar.

Keiji Mikami: “Sen'i Sōshitsu and in the centre of the ring!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Natalie’s got a big arm and all, but clearly size doesn’t matter when it’s being bent backwards!”

Keiji Mikami: “…That just sounded wrong. I'm feeling pretty uncomfortable, now…”

Merlot yelled out a cry of anger while Natalie screamed in agony as the Japanese woman wrenched back even further on her arm. Natalie bit the knuckles on her good hand in an attempt to fight off the pain while she tried to escape. To her credit, Natalie lasted a long time in Merlot’s submission, trying to hop on her back over to the nearest ropes but the pain eventually grew to unbearable levels. Reluctantly, Natalie’s other hand was tapping onto the mat and the referee called for the bell.

Masami Ishikawa: “Here is your winner by submission…Ayano Merlot!!”

Keiji Mikami: “And there we have it! Our winner for tonight’s main event; Ayano Merlot!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “You have to give Natalie McKinley a big hand, though. She came into that ring and she gave us a fight, and she tried all she could to get out of that submission! Tried and failed, mind you, but damn it, she tried!”

“Burning White” filled the hall and Merlot released the hold and had her arm raised by the referee. She then pulled Natalie to her feet as she was cradling her arm in pain. Both women shook hands, and Merlot exited the ring and walked back to the backstage area while Natalie was being checked out by the referee, as well as a couple of the Young Girls carrying ice packs and a first aid kit.

Keiji Mikami: “What a display of showmanship from Ayano Merlot!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “And there are a couple of our Young Girls tending to Natalie, and… Ha! Wouldn’t you know it, it’s those Saito kids from our last show!”

Keiji Mikami: “Ladies and gentlemen, tonight has been a great night and it’s only going to be even better the next time, when Seishin hits the big time at the Tokyo Dome with Destiny: Seishin Rising! Speaking on behalf of my broadcast partner, Takahashi Tomoko, I’m Mikami Keiji wishing you all a good night! We'll be seeing you all at the Tokyo Dome!”
