The Seishin cameras open live in the famous Korakuen Hall as the third edition of We are Seishin was set to begin. The sold out crowd were sitting in their seats waiting patiently as one of the cameras pans back and forth over the excited faces at ringside. Another camera captured some of the various banners and signs hanging from the hall’s balconies, written in either Japanese or, less frequently, in English: ‘I want Mercy!’ ‘Jacqui M is the Alpha Bitch!’ ‘Jungle Girl Rocks!’

The camera then cut away to the Seishin broadcast team, seated at ringside, and ready as always to get the night started.

Keiji Mikami: “Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the third edition of We are Seishin! We are live, once again, from Korakuen Hall inside the famous Tokyo Dome City in Tokyo! I’m Mikami Keiji, joined by my broadcast colleague, the beautiful and ever so lovely Takahashi Tomoko.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Mikami-san, you better keep it in your pants, because flattery does nothing for me. I also happen to be a professional…and married!”

Keiji Mikami: “I didn’t…anyway, what a match we have for all of you fans here with us in the hall and watching us at home!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Indeed! We got models galore for you for your ogling pleasure. We got the Jungle Girl, Joanna Tarzanna. We got the K Tigress, Hana Park – now she’s a damn model if I ever seen one! We have Shihai Megami, that cheerleader Cherry Oliver…that weirdo Barbie doll lookalike – what’s her name – Candi… Speaking of which, did you hear that ridiculous rumour?”

Keiji Mikami: “What rumour?”

Tomoko Takahashi: “The rumour where Junko and Barbie are going to resolve their match with a dance-off! I mean…what? In spite of the over-abundance of large breasted beauties, Seishin is supposed to be a wrestling promotion, not a damn dance competition!”

Keiji Mikami: “Your dislike for the more attractive members of our roster-“

Tomoko Takahashi: “You mean almost all of them.”

Keiji Mikami: “…notwithstanding, I in fact agree with you. But that’s just a silly rumour, right? Anyways, Seishin fans, tonight is Block B of our Championship of Seishin tournament, but not only that, but we also have for our main event the seven-woman over the top rope battle royal! Tonight is going to be a good night, Takahashi-san.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Yeah, I’ll reserve judgement if you don’t mind. Hey, Mikami-san, speaking of battle royals…has anybody told you that you look like that guy from the movie?”

Match One

Joanna Tarzanna vs. Pepsi Ayano

Championship of Seishin Tournament (Block B) Singles Match

Masami Ishikawa: “The following match is a Block B match in the Championship of Seishin tournament, and is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit!”

Joanna exits from behind the curtain and bangs her chest and lets out a loud roar then runs down to the ring, and if there is an opponent already in the ring she will pace around the outside, staring at her opponent, stalking her prey like a jungle cat, she then slides into the ring, climbing the turnbuckles and banging her chest and letting out another loud roar.

Keiji Mikami: “What a roar from the Jungle Girl! She looks ready for a fight, Takahashi-san.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Yeah, she roars like a beast but with a loss from Kawaishojo Senshi the other week I’m not convinced that she’s anything more than a little kitty cat. Nor am I convinced she is neither an actual jungle girl, nor even a Brazilian.”

“Die in a Fire” by The Living Tombstone (Featuring EileMonty and Orko) starts up and Pepsi Ayano storms out from the back, she pauses at the entrance throwing her arms open wide in a crooked Y, the crazy pop-art robe she wears to the ring dragging 4 feet behind her as she walks to the ring with a twisted smile on her face. Pepsi climbs up the ring steps and wipes her feet before climbing to the top turnbuckle from the outside and again striking her crooked Y pose, and dropping into the ring.

Tomoko Takahashi: “Sweet merciful Buddha, what is that?!”

Keiji Mikami: “That is Pepsi Ayano, from the famous Ayano clan.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Oh great, another Ayano. Lemme guess, she is the bubbly one of the crazy drunkard family.”

Keiji Mikami: “Actually, according to my sheet she is straight edge.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Please shoot me…”

Masami Ishikawa: Ladies and gentlemen, first, in the blue corner and hailing from the Amazon...she weighs in at one hundred and eighty-five pounds, The Jungle Girl Joanna Tarzanna!

Fans cheer the amazon as blue and yellow streamers are tossed into the ring. After a moment of cleaning, Masami continues.

Masami Ishikawa: Her opponent in the red corner, from Bad Street, Japan. She weighs in at one hundred and twenty-seven pounds...the Pixie Vampyre, Pepsi Ayano!

There's a bit of a mixed reaction from the crowd as black and purple streamers hit the ring. A cleaning crew rushes them out while Masami departs from the ring. Soon after, the bell sounds and the two practically run into one another ready to start the match.

Keiji Mikami: And already Ayano is showing us just how reckless she can be in the ring. She's giving away around sixty pounds here!

Tomoko Takahashi: I don't see it that way. Pepsi's just in there getting into the head of that jungle freak. See, I'm sure Joanna was all “Pepsi's not gonna try and match my strength” and right there--

Joanna shoves Pepsi away and the smaller Joshi takes a tumble in the form of a backward somersault landing against the ropes.

Keiji Mikami: And get tossed around like that?

Tomoko Takahashi: No, this is part of Pepsi's strategy. She's going to oversell Joanna's strength and just when she thinks she has the upper hand because of it.

Joanna takes hold of Pepsi's top and spins a couple times before launching the Ayano family member straight to the other corner of the ring.

Tomoko Takahashi: Fight back, you idiot!

Pepsi takes a moment to shake her head clean as Joanna comes out toward her looking to continue the assault. Ayano fights back, however, with a sudden drop toe hold. She's to her feet quick as Joanna comes to hers. The Jungle Girl rushes Pepsi who gets in another drop toe hold. This time, upon rising back up, Pepsi rushes to the ropes and comes back with a quick front dropkick that's only batted away as Joanna is already to her knees.

Keiji Mikami: Pepsi had something going there. Unfortunately it was rather short lived.

Ayano certainly fights to get her head back into the game as she makes it to her feet but is quickly grabbed by Joanna who throws her hard against the corner turnbuckle. Joanna then goes in for a hard clothesline but Pepsi manages to get out of the way just in time to come back around with a dropkick forcing the Jungle Girl into the corner instead. Pepsi quickly scales up to the middle rope where she begins pounding down some fist shots against Joanna's head. After the fifth or so shot, Pepsi flips herself up holding her body vertically for a short while...

Keiji Mikami: What's Pepsi doing here?

And comes swinging back down driving both her knees into Joanna's gut!

Tomoko Takahashi: Taking control of the match.

Pepsi hops back and celebrates her move as Joanna tumbles from the corner crawling her way along the ropes coughing until a few red splatters come out from her mouth.

Keiji Mikami: Joanna's coughing up blood!

Tomoko Takahashi: Now this match is firmly in Pepsi's ballpark.

Masami Ishikawa: Five minutes have passed!

Pepsi saunters over stepping over the crawling Joanna jerking her head back by her hair so everyone can see the blood before she begins clubbing the side of her head with hefty forearm shots. After a few of those, Pepsi heads over and ascends to the top rope looking to put this thing away for good.

Keiji Mikami: Pepsi's taking the high risk here!

After taking a moment to prepare, Joanna suddenly surprises Pepsi by surging toward the corner and planting a fist in her opponent’s face and dazing her for a few moments while Joanna sets Pepsi up for a superplex. Joanna lifts, but finds no gain as Pepsi struggles to free herself from the Jungle Girl, but they both lose balance and unexpectedly spill out onto the floor outside the ring.

The referee begins the twenty count.

Both Joanna and Pepsi squirm on the floor in pain, each clutching their heads and backs.

Keiji Mikami: Pepsi and Joanna are still on the floor. It looks like that both of them are hurt really bad after that nasty spill, Takahashi-san!

Tomoko Takahashi: One of them had better get up and climb back into that ring, or else it’s going to end up as a double count-out!

The fans cheer and clap for their chosen joshi to get back into the ring, cheering each of their names but it seems that their voices would do little to motivate either of them to get to their feet. They were still lying on the floor, in pain, as the referee continued his count.

The referee calls for the bell, and the fans inside the hall were stunned into silence by this outcome. Both Pepsi and Joanna were only just showing signs of life other than pained groans and squirming. The referee then climbs out of the ring, and walked over to Masami the ring announcer. She rises from her seat before he says something to her, and then she brings her microphone to her lips.

Masami Ishikawa: Ladies and gentlemen, the match has concluded in a double count-out. Therefore, the referee has decided that neither participant is the winner!

Naturally, this prompts a chorus of groans and booing from the fans.

Keiji Mikami: You heard it right here, everyone! This match is a double loss for both of those women!

Tomoko Takahashi: But what does that mean for the tournament?! We need to have a winner, here!

Keiji Mikami: I do not know. Hopefully we can get an update on this, soon enough.

Match Two

Hana Park vs. Tormenta Guerrera

Championship of Seishin Tournament (Block B) Singles Match

Masami Ishikawa: “The following match is a Block B match in the Championship of Seishin tournament, and is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit!”

The fans let out a chorus of cheers and clapping as the hall’s speakers filled the venue with the sounds of “Fight” by Icon for Hire. Moments later, the K Tigress herself, Hana Park stepped out from behind the curtain dressed in her ring gear. She smiled at the crowd before letting loose with a flurry of taekwondo-style punches and kicks, and then as soon as she was done she made her way to the ring.

Keiji Mikami: “K Tigress, Hana Park coming down to the ring. My sheet says she has a background in high flying, as well as Eurpoean-style technical wrestling, Japanese strong style, even taekwondo from her days in the South Korean military. And my, does she look pretty!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Yeah, yeah, she’s a pretty girl. So is, like, almost everyone else in the roster! Seishin is built on pretty faces, mores the pity, but to have such an eclectic range of styles at her disposal, that’s impressive. If she’s got the brains and talent to use them, that is. I’ll reserve judgement.”

“The Heroic Weather Conditions of the Universe” by Alexandre Desplat plays and Tormenta steps out from the back, acknowledging any cheers she might receive. She'll walk down to the ring, waving to the fans and high fiving any of them who are willing. Once she gets to the ring, she'll climb onto the ring apron and flip over the top rope to enter the ring. At this point she will salute the fans before turning to face her opponent.

Keiji Mikami: “And this is Tormenta Guerrera, the luchadora from…ehh…’Parts Unknown?’”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Oh great, another high flyer. What is it about this generation of wrestlers and flying around like they had wings? Didn’t the last match we had just prove what a bad idea it is?”

Keiji Mikami: “Wait, didn’t you take to the air when you wrestled, Takahashi-san?”

Tomoko Takahashi: “For one of my finishing moves, sure. That was the exception to the rule, though, Mikami-san. …Shut it.”

The hall grew to silence as both women took to their corners, and ring announcer Masami Ishikawa took her place in the centre of the ring as she brought her microphone to her lips.

Masami Ishikawa: “Introducing first, in the red corner… From Seoul, South Korea and weighing in at 117lbs. The K Tigress…Hana Park!

The Korean woman smiled and waved at the clapping fans as white and sky blue coloured streamers flew from ringside. Masami waited for the ring crew to clear the ring and she continued as soon as their work was done.

Masami Ishikawa: “And her opponent, in the blue corner… From Parts Unknown and weighing in at 130lbs… Tormenta Guerrera!”

Tormenta turned to the crowd and clapped her hands coloured streamers were being tossed into the ring. The ring crew went back in to clear the ring of coloured paper, and both joshi approached the referee as he made his way to the centre of the ring. Hana and Tormenta stare at one another shake each other’s hands as the referee asked if both competitors were ready to begin their match.

They both nodded.

Ding! Ding!

Hana and Tormenta go face to face, with both women staring at the other as they circled in the centre of the ring. Hana raised her hands in a fighting stance, and then she shot one of her feet out with a swift kick to Tormenta’s knee. Tormenta dropped to one knee, and Hana shot out with another swift kick, this time aimed at her opponent’s chest but Tormenta held her arms in front of her chest to guard herself as Hana’s leg connected. Hana kicked her again, and again, until Tormenta suddenly surged forward and tackled Hana to the ground and then she pulled her into a headlock.

Keiji Mikami: “Tormenta with the headlock after an impressive start from Hana Park and her swift kicks.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “So she can kick! You know who else can kick? Everyone else! Well…apart from the people without legs… I’ll shut up now.”

Tormenta wrenched Hana’s neck for a couple of moments before climbing off of the Korean woman and getting to her feet. She ran for the ropes, rebounded, but Hana was quick on the draw as her opponent ran back. Hana spun and grabbed Tormenta’s leg as soon as she was close enough and pulled her down onto the mat. Hana then climbed to her own feet and then she ran to the ropes. She bounced off of them, and then she came back to her opponent just before dropkicking Tormenta in the head as she was about to climb to her knees.

Keiji Mikami: “Park reverses in short order!”

The fans clapped and cheered as Hana stood back onto the mat, smiling and forming guns with her hands, pretend-firing into the crowd. She then turned back to Tormenta and pulled her back to her feet and then Irish whipped her into the nearest corner. The K Tigress soon followed, and then she unleashed a series of swift punches and kicks at the cornered Tormenta. Tormenta eventually managed to block some of the blows she was taking and then managed to grab Hana and push her away from the corner. With this new opening, Tormenta ran toward the Korean woman and leapt into the air, wrapping her legs around Hana’s head and shoulders before bringing her to the mat with a hurricanrana.

Keiji Mikami: “Impressive hurricanrana from the luchadora, Keiji Mikami.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “I still don’t see the appeal in flying around like that.”

Tormenta climbed the ring ropes in the corner while Hana was down, and then she settled onto the middle rope and leapt once again as Hana stood back up before taking her back down with a sunset flip.

The referee dropped to his knees and counted.

But Hana managed to squirm out of the pin and then she kicked Tormenta hard in the head, filling the hall with a hard cracking sound which prompted the fans present at the venue to let loose with a collective wince.

Tomoko Takahashi: “Not even a two count… Ha!”

Keiji Mikami: “Never mind that, Takahashi-san, did you hear that kick to Tormenta’s head?!”

Hana was not done yet. She kicked the seated Tormenta in the head once again, and once again the hall was filled with another loud crack. Tormenta brought a hand to her temple and then she tried to shake the stars loose from her vision before Hana decided to superkick her seated opponent in the face, and Tormenta’s head slammed onto the mat hard as she fell. Hana turned to the crowd once again, this time pretending to have some kind of machine gun in her hands and ‘firing’ at the fans before she decided to climb the ropes. As soon as she reached the top, the K Tigress looked down at the fallen luchadora, and then she leapt high in the air, twisting around as she flew and fell, before finally crashing down hard onto Tormenta with the corkscrew shooting star press in the centre of the ring.

Keiji Mikami: “Low Orbit Ion Cannon! And these fans are going wild at the sight of Hana Park’s impressive aerial display!”

Indeed, the fans were going wild at the sight of Hana’s finishing move. Amidst their cheers, the K Tigress covered her opponent and then the referee began his three count.

The referee called for the bell, and “Fight” by Icon for Hire filled the hall once again. Hana climbed off of Tormenta and stood back up as her hand was raised by the referee. She then smiled happily at the fans and blew kisses at them.

Masami Ishikawa: “Here is your winner via pinfall…Hana Park!”

Hana climbed out of the ring and then she made her way back to the backstage area, still smiling as she shook the hands of some of the fans and landed high fives to others.

Tomoko Takahashi: “So…that was rather one-sided. That didn’t even make the five minute mark!”

Keiji Mikami: “Regardless, Hana Park has advanced in the tournament, to join the likes of Ayano Merlot, Jacqui M, Saint Saito and all the rest of these talented women who have already advanced.”

Match Three

Mai Waifu vs. Cherry Oliver

Championship of Seishin Tournament (Block B) Singles Match

Masami Ishikawa: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit.

The opening 80’s synth/pop beat of Drivin’ Through The Night kicks off over the speakers, a moment going by before Mai Waifu bursts through the curtains onto the entrance ramp. She holds her arms wide, waving on any cheers the crowd’s willing to offer her for a moment before spiritedly striding to the ring.

She slides under the bottom rope, popping up to her feet as the song hits it’s chorus and she starts to dance to the music. As the chorus gives way to the next verse she walks to her corner, smiling broadly and awaiting the start of the match.

Keiji Mikami: Here’s Mai Waifu ready to get on a winning track and advance here in this tournament.

Tomoko Takahashi: Isn’t this the same woman who lost to that crowd pandering fool Kai Shizuka though?

The reggaeton beat of Selena Gomez's 'Like A Champion' takes over the arena's sound system. As a basic light show starts up and the vocalist sings the first few words of the lyrics, Cheerleader Cherry steps out. She strikes a pose near the entrance for a moment, then makes her way to the ring, slapping a few hands and ruffling the odd kid's hair along the way.

Keiji Mikami: And here’s Cherry Oliver. You know she wants to keep Mai on the losing track.

Tomoko Takahashi: I don’t know which one I don’t like more. I can’t stand either one of them.

Masami Ishikawa: Introducing first, in the red corner, from Sapporo, Sapporo Prefecture… Mai Waifu!

Mai walks to the middle of the ring and poses as the crowd cheers and Purple and White streamers flood the ring and the ring crew quickly pulls the paper out of the ring.

Masami Ishikawa: And her opponent, in the blue corner, from Allen, Michigan… Cherry Oliver!

Cherry walks to the middle of the ring and does a split as a two different shades of pink streamers flood the ring and the crowd cheers. The ring crew quickly removes the paper the referee calls for the bell to start the match.

The two ladies start to circle the ring and they shake hands as a sign of respect. The two ladies quickly lock up and Mai uses her size and strength advantage to quickly go behind Cherry and lifts her up and delivers a German Suplex causing Cherry to land on the back of her head and neck hard. Mai quickly continues to press the advantage by locking Cherry into a side headlock. Mai holds Cherry down on the mat and wrings the neck of Cherry more and more before Cherry makes it back up to her feet and pushes Mai off of her into the ropes. Mai comes off the ropes and takes Cherry back down with a shoulder block before dropping down for a cover. 1...2...kickout! Mai helps Cherry up to her feet and sends her into the ropes. Cherry comes off the ropes and Mai goes for a clothesline but, Cherry ducks it and hits the ropes again. Mai again goes for a clothesline and Cherry ducks again and this time delivers a neckbreaker to Mai.

Keiji Mikami: Mai started off strong but a nice counter by Cherry there.

Tomoko Takahashi: Who really cares?

Cherry then hits the ropes again and delivers a splash to Mai and stays on top for the cover. 1...2...kickout! Cherry helps Mai up and sends her into the ropes. Mai comes off the ropes and Cherry delivers a jumping leg lariat to Mai who crashes down to the mat again. Cherry then looks to the top rope and begins to climb it. Cherry steadies herself up top and goes for a frog splash but, Mai rolls out of the way and Cherry crashes into the mat grabbing her ribs a little bit. Mai makes it to her feet and helps Cherry up and sends her into the corner. Cherry hits the corner pad back first and Mai comes charging in and goes for a splash but, Cherry rolls out of the way and Mai crashes into the pads as Cherry grabs Mai and goes for a roll up. 1...2...kickout!

Keiji Mikami: Cherry tried to sneak out a victory here to no avail.

Tomoko Takahashi: Again, who really cares about this match?

Cherry put Mai in a side headlock and holds Mai down on the mat. The crowd starts to cheer the two ladies on as Mai starts to slowly make it to her feet. Mai pushes Cherry into the ropes. Cherry comes off the ropes and Mai knocks her down with a clothesline. Mai then hits the ropes and comes down on Cherry with a leg drop across her throat. Mai then quickly goes for a cover. 1...2...kickout!

Masami Ishikawa: Five minutes have passed!

Keiji Mikami: Five minutes gone and these two ladies are in a physical match.

Tomoko Takahashi: I’m hating this match more and more as it goes on.

Mai quickly picks Cherry up and picks her up and hits Cherry with an Oklahoma Slam. Mai picks her up again and looks for a delayed scoop slam but, Cherry counters out of it and grabs Mai and hits her with a side Russian legsweep. Cherry then hop up and delivers the Cherrysault! Cherry stays on top of Mai for a cover. 1...2...3...kickout! Cherry quickly though climbs to the top rope and taps her elbow before launching off the top rope and hitting Mai with Cherry's Super Duper Awesome Elbow! Cherry quickly goes for the cover. 1...2...3! The bell sounds as the ref raises Cherry’s arm in victory.

Keiji Mikami: And Cherry moves on in a competitive match.

Tomoko Takahashi: It doesn’t matter. She’s not making it past this.

Match Four

Kotone Wakahisa vs. Shihai Megami

Championship of Seishin Tournament (Block B) Singles Match

Masami Ishikawa: “The following match is a Block B match in the Championship of Seishin tournament, and is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit!”

Shihai Megami enters in a lavish flowing robe that trails behind her, Katy Perry's 'International Smile' echoing throughout the arena. Attendants roll out a red carpet and shower flower petals for her to walk on as she walks the aisle with arms extended, looking back and forth at fans with an "above you all" smirk. Her helpers help remove her robe at ringside and she climbs into the ring, going to each turnbuckle and climbing, blowing mocking kisses before waving them away. She finally leans into one corner, awaiting the start of the match.

Keiji Mikami: “Shihai Megami, Miss Universe, looking as beautiful and as arrogant as ever.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “I don’t know why pageant girl is looking so smug, Mikami-san. She lost the last match she was in and she was facing a cheerleader! If I were here I wouldn’t show my face in the light of day out of embarrassment!”

Keiji Mikami: “Weren’t you in a feud with a pink ninja at one time?”

Tomoko Takahashi: “She wore magenta and that’s beside the point. Damare!”

Keiji Mikami: “So rude…”

“The Power” plays over the loud speaker, and the intro plays for about seven seconds before the drums kick in. This is Kotone’s cue, and she walks out onto the stage. She strides down to the ring at a brisk pace, eager to perform for a new audience. She walks up the stairs and steps into the ring, stretching in the corner as she prepares for the match ahead.

Tomoko Takahashi: “Oh my, now that’s a big one!”

Keiji Mikami: “Insert crude western joke here… Anyways, that is Wakahisa Kotone. Bodybuilder from Yokosuka…thirty-eight years old and only now is she entering the puroresu scene.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Wait, she’s almost forty and she’s pretty much a Young Girl as far as this business is concerned?! Hahaha, she’s a Christmas cake!”

Keiji Mikami: “You do realise that you yourself are in your mid-forties, right? Besides, that reference applies very little to today’s wrestling world. Or anywhere else, for that matter.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Whatever. We both happen to be from a time when it did apply, so as the westerners say: suck it, Mikami-san!”

Keiji Mikami: “So rude…”

Kotone’s entrance theme died out, leaving the hall in silence as ring announcer Masami Ishikawa walked to the centre of the ring spoke into her microphone.

Masami Ishikawa: “Introducing first, in the red corner from Yokosuke, Kanagawa Prefecture and weighing in at 176lbs… Wakahisa Kotone!”

Kotone smiled at the fans and flexed her impressive musculature as yellow and red coloured streamers were being tossed into the ring.

Masami Ishikawa: “And her opponent in the blue corner, from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture and weighing in at 130lbs…Miss Universe… Megami Shihai!”

As black and white coloured streamers flew from ringside and into the centre of the ring, Shihai blew more mocking kisses at the booing fans. As soon as the ring crew cleared the ring of coloured paper, Masami stepped out and both joshi joined the referee in the centre of the ring. He asked if they were both ready. Kotone offered Shihai her hand but Miss Universe merely laughed at her and slapped her hand away. As soon as they nodded to the referee that they were both ready to begin he called for the bell.

Ding! Ding!

And like a shot, Kotone surged forward and dropped Shihai down to the mat hard with an extremely stiff lariat.

Keiji Mikami: “Aaaahhh! LARIATOOOOOOO!!!!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Megami went down like a sack of bricks with that lariat!”

Kotone picked Shihai up like it was nothing and then she pushed the smaller woman into the corner. Shihai hit the thick corner pad with a thud and Kotone soon followed and crushed her with a body avalanche, taking full advantage of her larger size. She pulled Miss Universe from the corner and into a vertical suplex, but instead of slamming her down onto the mat, Kotone just held her there, suspended, allowing the blood to rush to her opponents head as the fans began to count the seconds that passed.

But before the fans got to ten, the referee ordered Kotone to finish the move. Kotone obliged the referee, falling down onto the mat and taking Shihai with her, crashing into the mat beside her as she took the full force of the suplex. Kotone made the cover.

But before the referee got to three, Kotone grabbed Shihai by the hair and pulled her shoulders off the mat, shaking her head at the referee with a smile on her face.

Keiji Mikami: “Look at her face, she is enjoying this!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “So? I say let her have it! Hey, Wakahisa! Take a piece of her for me, yeah?! Hate models…”

As Shihai kicked and squirmed, trying to remove Kotone’s hands from her hair, the larger woman pulled Shihai to her feet. Shihai responded with a swift kick to Kotone’s midsection. Kotone doubled over, releasing the smaller woman and backing away a couple of steps. Shihai took this opportunity to first straighten her hair, and then punch Kotone a couple of times before making for the ropes. Shihai rebounded, ran back towards the larger woman, but before she could do anything else, Kotone quickly reversed and then picked Shihai up and slamming her back down to the mat with the powerslam.

Keiji Mikami: “Awesome reversal from Wakahisa!”

Kotone makes for another cover.

And again, Kotone lifts Shihai’s shoulders off of the mat. She pulled the smaller woman up to her feet and stepped behind her, wrapping her large arms around Shihai’s slim waist and dropping her head first onto the centre of the mat with a German suplex. But Kotone did not release the hold. Instead, she rolled over and got to her feet with Shihai still in her arms and dropped her again with another German suplex. Kotone repeated this for a third time, and then a forth, and then the western members of the crowd started to chant a well-known chant in their respective countries, in English.

“Suplex City!”

Clap. Clap. Clap. Clap.

“Suplex City!”

Clap. Clap. Clap. Clap.

“Suplex City!”

Keiji Mikami: “And how we have our western friends present tonight doing the Suplex City chant, I love it!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Stop! Stop…she’s already dead…! Eh, who am I kidding, you take that pageant girl apart, Wakahisa!”

Masami Ishikawa: “Five minutes have elapsed!”

And after what seemed like the tenth consecutive German suplex on the poor Shihai Megami, Kotone positioned Miss Universe’s head in between her thick legs. Kotone dragged a thumb across her neck and then she flexed her muscles again for the fans who cheered and clapped as Kotone hooked her arms around Shihai’s legs before lifting her, and dropping her on her head with a devastating package piledriver which caused Shihai to almost bounce as her head hit the mat.

Keiji Mikami: “And it is over for Megami Shihai. Say goodnight!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Now that was a mercy kill if I ever saw one, and little pageant girls like Megami deserve this kind of beat down!”

With a smile, Kotone got to her knees beside the fallen Shihai Megami and pressed a single finger against her chest. The referee begins the three count.

Masami Ishikawa: “Here is your winner by pinfall…Wakahisa Kotone!!!”

The referee raised Kotone’s large arm in victory while she was still kneeling on the ground. Kotone looked at her unconscious opponent and smirked at her as she took one of Shihai’s hands and then shook it, almost mockingly so. She got to her feet and turned toward the clapping fans, smiling and performing a series of bodybuilder poses.

Keiji Mikami: “And that was another one-sided match, right there!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Yeah, but this time one of those damn models got what was coming to her, so I won’t complain!”

Keiji Mikami: “You really do like it when your so-called ‘models’ get taken apart, don’t you?”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Love it. Okay, I’m happy now! What’s next, Mikami-san?”

[[GM] Mariko Inoue]

Segment

(As the screen opens up we venture into the locker room of the one and only Ursula Areano. We see her wrapping athletic tape around her wrists and forearms. As she finishes wrapping the tape she leans over and begins to lace her wrestling shoes. After a minute or two shoe laces both shoes. After she puts both her shoes on she lets out a sigh of relief and just sits in the chair grinning.



“This should be good.”



(Ursula looks up at the lights)



“I don’t think I will ever get used to moments before debuting.”



(After a few moments Ursula lightly slaps both her cheeks to get her head in the game.)



“Looks like It is time to show the people of Seishin what I can do.”



(Ursula jumps out of her chair and begins to prepare for her match. We see her heading to the door and opens it.)



“It’s time for war!”



(The door closes behind her.)

Match Five

Candi vs. Junko

Championship of Seishin Tournament (Block B) Singles Match

Masami Ishikawa: “The following match is a Block B match in the Championship of Seishin tournament, and is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit!”

The lights go down to a white flashing strobe effect as “Music is my Life” begins with its slow beat. Candi comes out a little too early for her cue with the high beat but it doesn't seem to bother her as she walks with a bit of a strut down the entry way smiling and waving to the fans. She keeps this up to the ring where she makes her way up the steps and under the middle rope and steps around inside the ring throwing out some more waves to the crowd.

Keiji Mikami: There we see Candi-chan, a competitor who always brings a positive attitude to the ring no matter what the circumstance

Tomoko Takahashi: That is not smart, Mikami-san. You can't just go about life being happy all the time. Some situations require a degree of seriousness. Otherwise you come across as air-headed, which this young girl certainly does.

Before Keiji can reply, the thumping opening beat of 'One, Two, Three' by Morning Musume sounds and with it comes a chorus of cheers. Junko stands on the ramp, mic around her head, and smiles towards the crowd. She juts her arm forward, giving the V for Victory signal before making her way towards the ring, her steps bouncing in beat to the music to make it appear as if she's dancing all the way down. She sings along to the lyrics, though only the chorus as she is much more focused on dancing her way to the ring. When she sings the numbers in the song, she makes the numbers with her fingers, smiling all the while. In the ring she gives another V towards the crowd, wearing a face of determination, if not confidence.

Keiji Mikami: Both our competitors seem very positive ahead of this tournament bracket match-up...but only one can win, of course.

Tomoko Takahashi: Of course. And the winner will be the one who is prepared to take this encounter more seriously.

As the two commentators banter, ring announcer Masami Ishikawa prepares to announce both competitors.

Masami Ishikawa: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit! In the blue corner, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, weighing 132 pounds...CANDI!!!

Candi picks up a few of her own and Junko's streamers and puts them in her hair, turning to the audience for approval. She gets a polite clap of approval, as across the ring her opponent also tells her she looks lovely.

Tomoko Takahashi: What silliness! Get on with it, you baka girl!

Masami Ishikawa: And in the red corner, from Harajuku, weighing 117 pounds...JUNKO!!!

Junko gives a pageant wave at the crowd, before gesturing to indicate she wishes to borrow Masami-chan's microphone.

Keiji Mikami: Oh...it appears we are going to have a few words from Junko-chan ahead of this match...

Tomoko Takahashi: She had better make it quick.

Once she has her microphone in hand, Junko looks around the stands at the crowd, smiling. Then, after taking a moment to soak in the environment, she begins:

Junko: Korakuen Hall!!!

The crowd give a reaction.

Junko: If you know my history with Candi-chan, you will be aware of the fact that we dislike fighting one another. Candi-chan is my friend, and a true idol never fights their friends! As such...we have decided to settle this matter another way.

Another brief reaction from the crowd.

Junko: Now, very few of you may know, but myself and May actually owe Candi-chan a rematch from a dance-off we had at our previous employer. As such, I have decided to grant it to Candi-chan at this time!

The crowd applaud once again, as Candi looks ecstatic. Junko takes a moment to grin at her friend, wishing her good luck, before commanding.

Junko: If the production crew would be so kind as to play my music...

'One, Two, Three' starts up once again, as Junko begins to perfectly execute its choreography.

Tomoko Takahashi: Oh, you have to be joking! This is disrespecting puroresu!

The crowd, however, seem to be into it, and give Junko a favourable reaction as she finishes her act. She then calls for Candi's music to be played, at which point the Canadian competitor begins trying to put together a choreography of her own. Despite not exactly being in time with the beat of 'Music Is My Life', the blonde does just enough for her routine to make a modicum of sense, and the crowd greet her with a polite round of applause as well.

Tomoko Takahashi: Thank goodness that is over!

Once both routines have been concluded, Junko once again takes to the microphone:

Junko: Now that we have both had the chance to present our numbers, we thought we would leave it to the members of the esteemed Seishin audience to decide a winner!

The audience once again react favourably, giving Junko encouragement to go on and ask:

Junko: Who preferred my routine over Candi-chan's?

A portion of the audience makes itself heard.

Junko: And who preferred Candi-chan's?

A similar portion of the audience manifests itself. The two women look at one another for a moment, before Junko once again asks:

Junko: Who votes for Candi-chan?

There is a sizeable cheer.

Junko: And who votes for June?

A similar cheer.

Keiji Mikami: Oh dear...it seems we are at an impasse...

Tomoko Takahashi: This is ridiculous...!!

In the ring, the two women look at one another again, and step closer to one another, looking to confer in private.

Keiji Mikami: It seems the two competitors are coming up with an alternate strategy here...

Before they can do so, however, they are interrupted by "Ai Wo Torimodose" by Faylan blasting through the hall's speakers, heralding the arrival of Seishin General Manager Mariko Inoue. She smiles up at the ring, at the two young women, then brings a microphone to her lips:

Mariko Inoue: Ladies...ladies...ladies...I apologise.

Candi and Junko both give the GM a puzzled look, as Mariko continues.

Mariko Inoue: You must understand...this is a Championship tournament. I cannot have a potential future Champion be decided through...a dance-off!

This realisation brings a look of frustration to the faces of Junko and Candi, both of which begin to plead with Mariko not to make them fight one another. The GM, however, remains adamant.

Mariko Inoue: I am sorry...we must have a match. Proceed.

With this, Seishin's main authority figure once again makes her way to the back, leaving two quite distraught young ladies behind.

Tomoko Takahashi: Thank goodness for Inoue-sama, bringing some order to this madness! I knew my former student had a brain behind those massive funbags of hers!

Tomoko's words are drowned out by the sound of the bell, as Junko and Candi very tentatively begin to circle one another. Clearly, neither of them wants to go on offence, and a long feeling-out process ensues.

Tomoko Takahashi: Are they planning to do anything...?

Finally, it is Candi who bites the bullet, lunging forward with a forearm...

...only to stop herself just short of hitting Junko, and bring her arm down, shaking her head.

Tomoko Takahashi: Oh, please!

Keiji Mikami: Candi-chan and Junko-chan are friends, Takahashi-san. I understand their reluctance.

Seeing how affected Candi is, Junko walks over to give her a hug, reassuring her that it will be all right. Then, after comforting her friend for a moment, her face lights up, with what is clearly an idea. She whispers something into Candi's ear, and the blonde's face similarly lights up.

Keiji Mikami: They seemed to have reached a compromise...

In fact, the two girls position themselves in front of one another, fists held out, looking each other in the eye. As Junko is heard declaring 'best of three, the crowd holds their breath...

...but only until Junko extends her open hand out, Candi presenting two fingers in return!

Tomoko Takahashi: What are they...?

Keiji Mikami: Rock-Paper-Scissors! That is how they will sort out the winner!

Tomoko Takahashi: Dear Buddha...really?!

Indeed, that is exactly what is occurring in the ring – and Candi has just won the first round, with scissors over paper! They start over, and Junko takes the second round, once again throwing paper against Candi's rock. The two giggle and get set for a third round...

...Candi throws scissors...

...and Junko throws a rock!

The crowd gives a smattering of applause as the joshi begins to celebrate. Despite having lost, Candi is, herself, clapping effusively, and holds her friend's hand up. She then slides out of the ring, leaving the referee to count.

Candi disappears through the curtain, not before shooting a grin and a wave back at her friend in the ring.

Keiji Mikami: Well, it looks like Candi-chan won't be coming back...

Still, the referee continues to count.

Tomoko Takahashi: Pa-the-tic!

No sooner has the count ended than Masami Ishikawa makes the decision official:

Masami Ishikawa: The winner of this match, by count-out, and progressing in the Championship of Seishin tournament...JUNKO!

The crowd give the pop idol a polite applause, as she gives them another pageant wave. She then slips out of the ring herself, basking in the adoration of the fans as she retreats up the ramp.

Keiji Mikami: We got robbed of an athletic contest...and the dance-off was also indecisive...but we did see a great display of friendship here at Korakuen Hall this evening!

Tomoko Takahashi: Absolutely risible! Those two girls ought to be punished!

It is with the announcer still audibly ranting that the feed cuts elsewhere.

[[GM] Mariko Inoue]

Segment

The camera opened as it moved forward down a corridor in the backstage area of Korakuen Hall, before it turned around a corner and then caught a shot of the general manager of Seishin, Mariko Inoue standing alone as she spoke into her phone.

Mariko Inoue: “Forgive me, Hyuga-sama, you’ll have to speak up. The reception is terrible here… Hai, I can hear you… You cannot be serious, Hyuga-sama. They were supposed to wrestle, not hold dance-offs and hold children’s games! Hai… But Seishin is our creation, Hyuga-sama, and I thought it was with the understanding that we would be a serious puroresu company. Hai… Yes, sir. I’ll make the announcement. Hai… We shall discus this later, Hyuga-sama.”

Mariko ended the call and let out a frustrated sigh before composing herself and straightening out her sharp business suit, now looking and feeling like the professional businesswoman she was meant to be. The general manager turned around, and was surprised to see a cameraman standing behind her.

And then she smiled.

Mariko Inoue: “Oh, good! You’re here. Are you ready? Beginning to film? Okay…three, two, one…”

And then her smile grew all the more brighter.

Mariko Inoue: “Good evening Seishin fans! I hope you are all enjoying yourselves tonight! I have a couple of announcements to make before we get to our main event, so please bear with me.”

There was a pause, and then…

Mariko Inoue: “First, let me just address the previous…’match’ between Candi and Junko. I apologise that you all had to see that. That is not what Seishin is about, I assure you!”

With that, Mariko gave the camera a low bow.

Mariko Inoue: “Personally, I am of the mind to disqualify both participants from the tournament, but I received a phone call from Seishin’s owner – my boss – Hyuga Toru, who has generously allowed the decision to stand in regards to Junko’s rather…unorthodox method of advancement. Nevertheless, they both disobeyed a direct request from the general manager to have a wrestling match, and please rest assured that both women shall face official disciplinary action in the near future.”

Another pause.

Mariko Inoue: “Moving on! In regards to the double count out earlier tonight, I have decided to let the decision stand. However, this does prove problematic in terms of the tournament, so I have decided to restructure it a little. As of the fourth edition of We are Seishin, we shall hold a series of three way dances for each of the nine winners of the tournament. The winners of each three way dance will then advance to the finals, where they shall compete at our first ever supershow. That is all I had to say, right now. Everybody, please have a pleasant evening!”

Mariko smiled brightly and then gave the camera another bow before the camera feed returned to the action at Korakuen Hall.

Seven-Woman Over the Top Rope Battle Royal

Keiji Mikami: “Here we are, tonight’s main event! I for one have been waiting for this match all night, Takahashi-san.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “I still think you look like the guy from that movie, Mikami-san.”

Keiji Mikami: “I do not!”

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is the main event! It is a seven-woman battle royal, where each joshi is eliminated from the match when they are thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the ground.”

Get on Your Knees by Nicki Minaj hits over the public address system, as the lights dim and flash purple and pink all over the arena, as a lone spotlight dawns over the arena. As out from the back steps out none other than Bianca Davis, the fans boo the arrogant blonde who is oblivious acting like the home coming queen has she does an arrogant beauty pageant wave to the audience before blowing kisses to the fans.

Then, Bianca begins her arrogant strut down to the ring, pointing at the fans and giggling at them as she keeps posing arrogantly and taunting them. Staying in the center of the entrance ramp not allowing their common hands to touch her, as she stops half way and takes off her custom made Queen of Television championship and raises it up in the air as the fans boo the arrogant woman who blows them a kiss for their troubles. Bianca, then climbs up the steel steps smirking arrogantly, however, she rolls her eyes at the ref before yelling at him telling him to lower the ropes for her. Which he does as she enters under the bottom rope as she stands in the center of the ring doing her trademark beauty pageant wave in the center of the ring.

As she then once again raises her Queen of Television Championship up in the air and parades around with it as the fans boo loudly before she leans in the corner using her title belt as a mirror to check her hair and make up blowing herself a kiss at the end of it.

Keiji Mikami: “The Queen B, Bianca Davis coming down to the ring first…”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Great. Another model…”

“Battle for Camelot” begins to play and Brittney comes out to the ring with an Irish flag in hand as she waves it around proudly. She sets the flag in a base by the curtain before pounding her chest and letting out a Celtic Battle Cry before sprinting down to the ring and sliding in. She hops back to her feet and hits the ropes a few times before raising her hands high and screaming “Buaidh no Bas” (Victory or Death in Celtic) before resting in her corner.

Keiji Mikami: “Britney Drew, coming down next.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “That girl looks younger than Saint Saito! What is she, twelve?!”

Keiji Mikami: “She’s twenty-four, Takahashi-san.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Whatever!”

The opening to "Throat Full of Glass" by Combichrist begins. Its unique beats results in Kaya Lovelace making a steady walk from behind the curtain. Chewing on a piece of bubblegum, she scans the crowd methodically. After her initial scan, she blows a bubble before heading down the ramp. A black hood shrouds all but her wicked smile. Her walk down the ramp is focused, disregarding the existence of all around her.

When she ascends the ring apron, she shows a small usage of her athleticism, front-flipping over the top rope. With a roll to recover, she stays on one knee. The hood goes off, revealing the full features of herself. The bright eyes of Kaya Lovelace shouts malice as she glares down anyone that catches her gaze. She heads to her designated corner, keeping her back turned to whatever. Lowering her head to the top turnbuckle, she begins her mental preparations.

Keiji Mikami: “And here is Rockstar Revolution, Kaya Lovalace, now…”

Tomoko Takahashi: “She looks like a girl who needs to be in touch with her anger, Mikami-san.”

The lights in the arena shut off, drawing a momentary, anticipatory murmur from the audience, before two emphatic drum beats fill the PA system, accompanied by a pair of strobe light flashes. Strapping Young Lad’s “Antiproduct” cues up, two more drum beats hitting before the song kicks off, again accompanied by the flashing strobes. The tempo of the song quickens, and a voice mumbles something behind the aggressive guitar playing.

The lights return to full power as the first verse of the song kicks in, but for a moment, the audience is left waiting. Eventually, the curtain’s pushed aside, and from behind it steps Michiko Yamada. She stops at the head of the ramp, turning to glance at either side of the stage, almost expressionless, undoing the one button of her robe before pacing her way down to the ring in no particular hurry. She pauses at the edge of the ring apron, shrugging the robe off her shoulders before sliding under the bottom rope, moving to the nearest corner and just settling back against it.

Keiji Mikami: “Yamada Michiko, now, the Anti-Product.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “You see that cold expression on her face? That’s almost exactly the same look I had on mine when I went into the ring. Almost, but not quite. Mine was better.”

"Jan Brady" begins to play. Molly jaunts out from behind the curtain, slapping hands the whole way down into the ring.

Keiji Mikami: “Molly Cyrus is next, and don’t you dare say anything, Tomoko!”

"Undegpedwar" by Y Niwl begins to play over the PA system, which is the cue for a smiling Natalie McKinley to walk through the curtains, and out onto the stage. After taking a moment to scan the cheering crowd, Natalie makes her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her, before breaking into a jog, that culminates with her leaping up onto the ring apron. Natalie then steps through the ropes, and walks to the centre of the ring, from where she again surveys the crowd. Buoyed by the positive reaction that she has garnered from the fans, Natalie smiles wider, before she then turns her focus towards her opponent.

Keiji Mikami: “Natalie McKinley, from Cardiff in Wales.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Another muscle-lady like Wakahisa…but seeing as she also has a pretty face I’ll instantly dislike her now.”

Keiji Mikami: “Of course…”

“Weight of the World” is heard on the sound system. Ursula comes out from behind the curtain. When she gets to the ramp, shower fireworks reign down on her. She walks down the ramp with her hips moving back and forth and she is swinging her arms. She gets on the apron and enters the ring between the ropes. After that she walks over to the ropes on the right side and stands on the first rope. She then bends over and looks at the fans with a smile on her face. She then gets off the ropes and walks to one side of the ring and waits for the officials to start the match.

Keiji Mikami: “And Ursula Areano makes number seven!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Okay! Let’s get this model-fest over and done with!”

The noise in the hall grew to dead silence as ring announcer Masami Ishikawa stepped toward the centre of the ring, microphone in hand and surrounded my women who’d like nothing than to start fighting.

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, introducing first and weighing in at 120lbs…the Queen B… Bianca Davis!”

Bianca fluffed her hair before blowing arrogant kisses to the crowds.

Masami Ishikawa: “Second, from Dublin, Ireland and weighing in at 125lbs… Britney Drew!”

Britney cried out several unknown phrases in Celtic at the fans.

Masami Ishikawa: “Third, from St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada and weighing in at 140lbs…the Rockstar Revolution… Kaya Lovelace!”

Kaya cried out wordlessly as she held up the devil horns high like she was some kind of rock star.

Masami Ishikawa: “Fourth, from Saku, Nagano Prefecture and weighing in at 131lbs… Yamada Michiko!”

Michiko just stood there expressionlessly as she leaned against the ring ropes.

Masami Ishikawa: “Fifth, from Tennessee and weighing in at 116lbs… Molly Cyrus!”

Molly blew kisses at the fans.

Masami Ishikawa: “Sixth, from Cardiff, Wales and weighing in at 147lbs… Natalie McKinley!”

Natalie flexed her muscles for the crowd.

Masami Ishikawa: “And finally, from Buenos Aires, Argentina and weighing in at 125lbs…the Argentinian Scrapper… Ursula Areano!”

Ursula wiggled her rear as if she was dancing, and then suddenly a huge rainbow of streamers come flying from ringside, covering the ring and everyone within, even prompting a giggle from Masami as she struggled to exit the ring while being covered in coloured paper. The ring crew worked to clear the ring, and several moments later the ring was empty save for the seven women and one referee who were meant to be there.

The referee signalled for all of the women to approach him, and then he asked them all if they were ready to begin, calling for the bell as soon as they all nodded in the affirmative.

Ding! Ding!

And within seconds of the bell ringing, the entire wrestling ring descended into chaos, and the referee wisely slipped out of the ring so that he could officiate with the other three referees waiting outside as all seven women hurled punches and kicks at one another.

Keiji Mikami: “And already the battle royal becomes madness!”

Both Michiko and Bianca had the same idea and tried to eliminate some of the competition early in the match. Michiko tried to throw Britney over the ropes and Bianca tried to do the same with Natalie. The others were still tossing blows at one another, however, Kaya pulled Ursula into a headlock, wrenching her neck before pushing her roughly towards the ropes but instead Ursula happened to run into Michiko as she had Britney hanging off the top rope. Michiko was knocked forward into the ropes, losing her grip on the Irish girl who fell onto the apron and managed to roll back inside the ring.

Tomoko Takahashi: “That little girl just got saved by Ursula! And Kaya, of course…”

Michiko turned around and glared at Ursula and then she stalked toward her with murder in her eyes, but before she got even to her third step toward the Argentinian woman, Britney sneaked up from behind and grabbed Michiko by the arm and Irished whipped the Anti-Product over the top rope. But she did not fall to the floor, instead, she was standing onto the ring apron and hanging onto the ropes when Ursula and Britney faced one another and nodded to each other before charging Michiko and hitting her with the double dropkick that pushed her off the ring and onto the floor.

Masami Ishikawa: “Yamada Michiko has been eliminated!”

Keiji Mikami: “Did you see that?! Britney Drew and Ursula Areano get the early elimination in Yamada Michiko! Great teamwork, there!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Damn! And I was somewhat rooting for Yamada, too…”

Natalie held onto the ring ropes for dear life as Bianca tried to eliminate the young Welsh woman, but was saved at the last minute – kind of – by Kaya Lovelace who grabbed the Queen B by the hair and planted a stiff haymaker across her jaw. Natalie rolled back into the ring and got a short-arm elbow smash in across Bianca’s face and then another across Kaya’s before she stepped behind the Rockstar Revolution and hit her with a cobra clutch slam before turning her attention toward Bianca.

Keiji Mikami: “And a crushing cobra clutch slam from Natalie McKinley!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “And that is how you repay someone when they save your skin in a match!”

Keiji Mikami: “I’m pretty sure that Kaya ‘saving’ Natalie was unintentional, Takahashi-san.”

Meanwhile, the ‘alliance’ between Ursula and Britney is still standing strong, as they hit Molly Cyrus with a series of double team moves before trying to force her over the top rope. On the other side of the ring, Natalie grabbed Bianca by her hair and then hit her with a series of blows before lifting her high above her head with the gorilla press in an impressive feat of strength and then Natalie promptly dropped Bianca outside of the ring, where she crashed onto the floor with a sickening thud.

Masami Ishikawa: “Bianca Davis has been eliminated!”

Keiji Mikami: “And we have our second elimination for tonight! Bianca you are out of here!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Did you see the way Bianca’s face bounced off of the floor when Natalie dropped her? I changed my mind, I think I like Natalie now.”

Kaya ambushed Natalie from behind, slamming the Welsh woman onto her head with the O’Connor roll that was transitioned into a harsh German suplex. Kaya had the upper hand now, stomping onto Natalie as she lay on the mat, trying to guard herself against Kaya’s feet. Meanwhile, both Britney and Ursula were on the verge of eliminating Molly from the match, all of them hanging onto the ropes as both Britney and Ursula used their feet to push Molly off the apron.

Keiji Mikami: “Britney and Ursula are still using teamwork to their advantage as they try to eliminate Molly.”

Tomoko Takahashi: “How long will this alliance last, I wonder. Let me tell you something, Mikami-san. There is only one rule and one rule only when it comes to battle royals: Always look out for number one!”

Masami Ishikawa: “Five minutes have elapsed!”

It had taken some effort, but the alliance paid off as they finally managed to get Molly off the mat and onto the floor.

Masami Ishikawa: “Molly Cyrus has been eliminated!”

Keiji Mikami: “They did it! Now we’re down to four!”

As Molly Cyrus recovers from her tumble over the top rope, an unfamiliar figure comes bounding down the ramp towards the ring. This is a gaijin woman, with jet-black hair and obviously fake breasts, who wastes no time climbing onto the apron and tugging on the arm of Ursula as she was distracted with high-fiving Britney. The unknown woman eventually managed to pull Ursula over the ropes and onto the floor before whipping her into the ringpost and knocking her unconscious.

Masami Ishikawa: “Ursula Areano has been eliminated!”

Keiji Mikami: “Who is this...? She seems to be in league with Molly Cyrus, and has eliminated the woman who eliminated her, before tossing Ursula into the ringpost!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “...or is she?”

Keiji Mikami: “What?!”

In fact, Molly does not seem too happy at the woman's interference, as she gets in her face quite heatedly. The new arrival can do little but defend herself verbally, which she does. Molly, however, does not seem convinced, and for a moment it appears they are going to come to blows.

Keiji Mikami: “I may have been wrong...it appears this new arrival is no friend of Molly’s...”

Just as Mikami is saying this, however, the raven-haired woman reaches into her impossibly tight jeans and pulls out a familiar object: a hair shaver. Seeing it, Molly's eyes widen, her head moving quickly back and forth between it and the woman's face. The new arrival smirks, pushing it closer to Molly, clearly encouraging her to take it. The new Seishin signing, however, continues to seem reluctant.

Keiji Mikami: “What is going on?”

After a moment, Keiji's question is answered, as Molly snatches the hair shaver and pulls the newly-arrived woman into a hug. Then, to the surprise of the audience, she takes the machine and uses it on her own hair, shaving her regular, long haircut into a mohawk-and-rat-tail combination. She then joins her friend in flipping the audience the bird, before retreating with her backstage. The audience give a predictably unfavourable reaction, but the two don't seem to care, and continue to make their way to the back.

Keiji Mikami: “Well, it appears they were in cahoots, and also very rude! I still would like to know who this other woman is, however...”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Never mind that, Mikami-san – there is still a match occurring!”

And now there were three. As Britney checked on her ally – while remaining in the ring, of course – Natalie and Kaya were brawling in the corner, trading blows. Natalie eventually got the upper hand as she kicked Kaya in the gut and hit her with a fisherman DDT. As Kaya hit the mat, Natalie climbed to her feet and was suddenly rushed by Britney Drew, who grabbed Natalie by the shoulders and tossed her over the ropes.

Keiji Mikami: “And now Natalie has been eliminated! We’re down to two!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Damn! And I kind of wanted Natalie to win now, after she dropped that model on her face…”

Masami Ishikawa: “Ten minutes have elapsed!”

Britney began to pound her chest in victory as she roared out “Buaidh no Bas!” at the fans who cheered and clapped their approval for this match. But as she was showboating, she did not notice the furious Kaya Lovelace stalk up behind her and then turned her around to face her, booting her in the midsection before setting her up for a vertical suplex that transitioned into a double knee backbreaker.

Keiji Mikami: “Love Hurts from Kaya Lovelace! I think she’s going to be our winner!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “…Hooray… Can I go home, now?”

Kaya pulled Britney onto her feet, and with little to no finesse she tossed the young Irish woman out onto the floor, and the hall erupted with a thunderous chorus of booing as “Throat Full of Glass” blasted out from the venue’s speakers. Kaya raised her arms in victory and swore at the fans in English before she climbed the ring ropes and did more of the same.

Masami Ishikawa: “Here is your winner…Kaya Lovelace!”

Keiji Mikami: “She did it! Kaya Lovelace managed to survive the battle royal and come out of it the winner!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “Wait, what’s this?”

As Kaya was in the corner celebrating with her arms high in the air, her entrance theme suddenly cut to silence as Natalie suddenly appeared back in the ring, rushing Kaya and pushing her off the ring ropes and making her spill out onto the floor, and then Natalie dropped to her knees and raised her arms in apparent victory.

Naturally, everyone was confused.

Tomoko Takahashi: “Oooookay? What just happened?”

Keiji Mikami: “I have no idea, Takahashi-san…”

The four referees grouped together to confer outside the ring, until moments later they all reached an agreement and then one of them approached Masami with the decision. Masami rose from her seat and rose her microphone to her lips.

Masami Ishikawa: “Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has informed me that while the rules state that to be eliminated the joshi had to be thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor, Natalie McKinley only had one foot touching the floor, and so was not officially eliminated. Therefore…here is your winner…Natalie McKinley!”

The fans filled Korakuen Hall with a loud chorus of cheers for Natalie as she circled the inside of the ring with her arms raised in true victory.

Keiji Mikami: “What?! What an upset, Takahashi-san! Never before in my life have I ever seen something like that!”

Tomoko Takahashi: “I think I just had a feeling of déjà vu, Mikami-san. I’m sure I’ve seen a decision like this somewhere… Weird.”

Keiji Mikami: “Either way, that is it for this wonderful night at We are Seishin! Everybody, on behalf of my broadcast partner Takahashi Tomoko, I’m Mikami Keiji wishing you all a good night!”
