The latest video on the Seishin website is...a cartoon. Or, to be more accurate, an animated comic book, seeing as it is made up of still panels with slight animation effects added to them. Viewers have just enough time to catch a glimpse of the name of the DeviantArtist responsible for the piece, on the bottom right-hand side of the screen, before a vaguely familiar voice proclaims:
'The city of Seishin...
...IS UNDER ATTACK!!'
The image changes to a still shot of a giant woman – bearing a striking resemblance to Seishin joshi Mai Waifu – destroying the aforementioned - and previously peaceful - town. The next shot shows three characters – themselves looking and sounding oddly like current Seishin and ex-GPW roster members May, June and Candi – holding their head in their hands and lamenting:
'What are we to do?! It's Mai Waifu!'
'She has lost a wrestling match, and is now covering Seishin City with her radioactive vomit! We are doomed!'
The third character is then seen pointing off camera:
'No we're not! Sofy is here to save us!'
'You mean Wrestling Guardian Cherry Bomb!', one of the other characters adds, just as the focus shifts to a Sailor Moon-looking blonde, seemingly hovering in mid-air amidst anime action lines. The next panel shows the giant Mai looking at the hero quizzically as, in the over-dubbed dialogue, Cherry addresses her:
'Stop right there, Mai! This destruction has gone on long enough! I have to stop you!'
'Stop meeeee?!' Giant Mai is heard saying, in a deep 'monster voice'. 'I have just lost my first match in forever! You've just won your first in forever! What makes you think you stand a chance?!'
'Well...you're right!', Cherry admits, as the art shows her blushing. 'Your record destroying cities is way better than my record beating monsters! But I did stop the evil Shihai Megami from turning Seishin City into a shoe store, so I know I can stop you from covering it in puke!'
'And how exactly do you plan on doing that?' Evil Giant Mai Waifu rumbles.
'How?' The art now shows Wrestling Guardian Cherry Bomb looking confident, a smirk on her features. 'I'll show you how!'
The next few frames of animation show Cherry reaching into her pocket and producing what looks like a timekeeper's bell, the kind usually found at a wrestling show, which she then triumphantly holds out as she yells:
'In the name of wrestling...I will punish you!'
The most complex piece of animation in the video - a Sailor Moon-esque attack animation – then kicks in, as the monster Mai is seen gaping and gasping in horror. Cherry is then shown smirking once again, before her hand shoots forward in a magical attack....
…which, much to viewers' chagrin, never concludes, a text blurb appearing in its place instead:
WILL WRESTLING GUARDIAN CHERRY BOMB DEFEAT THE EVIL MAI WAIFU?! TUNE IN ON OCTOBER 18TH AND FIND OUT!'
It is on this teaser message that the video ends.
