Perpetual Motion: Mariko is always on the move. Everthing she does is fast and fluid, which makes things difficult for her opponents when it comes to getting their hands on her.
Weaknesses:
Lack of Endurance: It is said that the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. If a match goes on for too long, then the constantly moving Mariko will tire easily. A savvy opponent would do well to draw the match out as long as they can.

She is all smiles as she waves to the fans, winking at them, blowing kisses. Mariko ran down the ramp, slapping hands as she goes, stopping to thank the fans for coming.
When she reached the bottom, she laughed and then skipped the rest of the way to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope. By the time when Mariko Inoue retired at thirty-two, she had already been a professional wrestler for a decade and celebrated as such in her native Japan. However, were it not for a mother's anger, her tale might have been a different one entirely.
A Tokyo girl through and through, Mariko Inoue had it all. She had money, she was the popular kid in school, she had incredible...assets. However, when she was younger, Mariko was something of an attention whore, and so when she came of age she became a gravure idol, modelling her body for popular men's magazines. While she did enjoy the attention her occupation afforded her, her career in gravure was a brief one much like every other idol, and Mariko's addiction for attention had yet to be sated.
However, one day, when Mariko was in a photo shoot with another idol, an angry middle-aged woman stormed into the studio and tried to drag the other idol away from the shoot. The woman was Tomoko Takahashi, and she was preventing her stepdaughter from beginning her career and showing off her body for the "perverts," and Mariko was pretty much awestruck when the older woman dragged her stepdaughter away. When she was younger, and enjoyed watching joshi puroresu and storming in and out was one of her favourite wrestlers! Later that night, a thought sparked in her head; she had come up with a means to get the attention she craved.
Training with Takahashi was hell on earth; she was a harsh teacher to all of her students but she was especially harsh with the pretty girls she taught. As one of the better looking girls in Tomoko's dojo Mariko got it the worst, but she persevered and kept on training, earning the begrudged respect of her sensei.
In puroresu, Mariko Inoue was finally getting her fix. She reveled in the adoration of the fans and she daresay she enjoyed the sheer physicality of her new profession. By the time she decided to retire as a joshi she was adored, celebrated, famed throughout Japan...but she was not done yet.
