We are inside a small gym where we see a girl with long black hair kicking a bag and letting a loud scream with each kick. She stops after a few minutes and sits down with a towel in hand and wipes away the sweat from her face and takes a sip of water from her bottle. She leans forward resting her elbows on her thighs and resting her chin in her hands with a smile on her face.
“‘Ello Lads and Lasses. The name is Brittney Drew and I come from a long line of warriors on both my mother and father’s sides. My father’s ancestors were Celtic Warriors and my mother’s ancestors followed the ways of the Japanese Ninja. So, from the time I was able to do anything athletically, my parents pushed me to be a warrior somehow. I started out doing some Judo, and Karate but, that wasn’t enough for me. It was fun to learn but, I just wasn’t getting the satisfaction I wanted out of it so, I started training to be a wrestler. At eighteen, I started my training and six months later, I was on my way and was touring all over Europe. I toured with my best friend Heather and we were one hell of a tag team winning Tag Team Titles wherever we went. But, after five years of doing all of that, I wanted to get out of Europe, go to the land of my mother and be a warrior there.”
Brittney stands up and starts kicking the bag again with hard strikes.
“So, I decided to bring my mix of wrestling and martial arts here to We are Seishin. I knew that when I wanted to come to Japan, this was the place to come to. The talent on the roster is phenomenal and it’s still a new company. It’s a great place for me to make a name for myself. My first match though is a battle royal at We Are Seishin Three. I have six other women I have to throw over the top rope in order to win this match and I have no problems kicking their heads off to do so. People who have seen my body of work in Europe know how deadly my kicks are and how far I am willing to go in order to win my matches. I’ve never been loved by fans but, they damn sure respect me. These other girls in the match and in Seishin are about to see what someone with the last name Drew is capable of in the ring. My family is all over this industry and now, I’m making my mark in the one place nobody else has in my family, Japan. I live by the mantra “Buaidh no bas” or in English, “Victory or Death”. Seishin is going to see that soon enough and I can’t wait to show them the power of the Celts.
Brittney keeps kicking as the scene fades
